In the previous sessions of “Voice of Chinese Youth” Foreign Language Speech Event, a group of exceptionally talented youngsters vividly told Chinese stories to the global audience, using foreign languages as a medium. They put on fantastic performances with an international perspective, drawing the attention of nearly a million viewers worldwide.

Now the Fourth “Voice of Chinese Youth” has kicked off!
Youngsters, are you ready to embark on this journey?
“中国少年说”外语演讲活动是国内首个团体式、多语种、创新型、线上线下结合的青少年演讲活动，由深圳市龙华区委外办、深圳市龙华区委宣传部、深圳市龙华区教育局、深圳市龙华区文化广电旅游体育局共同主办，旨在推进龙华国际形象构建，促进青少年国际素养提升。
The "Voice of Chinese Youth" Foreign Language Speech Event is the first team-based, multilingual and innovative domestic youth speech event taking place both online and onsite, co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC Shenzhen Longhua District Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Shenzhen Longhua District Committee, the Education Bureau of Shenzhen Longhua District and the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Shenzhen Longhua District. The event aims to promote the global image of Longhua District and improve teenagers' international literacy.

Chinese Stories, World Expression
以国产动画片中的经典人物为切口，围绕中国优秀传统文化、深圳精神、AI人工智能以及命运共同体、可持续发展等国际热点主题展开演讲。放眼国际，用中国形象讲好中国故事，表达中国观点，发出中国少年好声音。
Students shall take classic characters from domestic animated cartoons as an entry point and deliver speeches on the fine traditional Chinese culture, Shenzhen Spirit, and AI, as well as world hotspot issues like a community with a shared future and sustainable development. You are expected to tell Chinese stories, express Chinese opinions and make Chinese youth’s voice heard by the world.

Teams that stand out in group presentations will have the opportunity to perform at mega events of municipal and district levels.
线下评审及结果公布时间、线下展演时间以具体通知为准。
Please note that the specific details regarding the offline evaluation, result announcement, and offline performance time will be separately announced.
活动对象
Participants
18周岁以下的国内外中国少年，华人华侨青少年以及在中国学习成长的国际少年。
The event is open to teenagers under the age of 18, including domestic and overseas Chinese youths, ethnic Chinese and overseas Chinese youths, as well as international youths who are studying and growing up in China.
学生组别
Students Groups
活动将根据参与者所在学校及学龄划分不同组别。
Students will be divided into different groups based on their schools and academic years.
龙华区内在校生：
A组：小学低年段1-3年级
B组：小学高年段4-6年级
C组：初中组
D组：高中组（含职校）
Students in Longhua District:
Group A: Grades 1-3 of primary school (lower grades)
Group B: Grades 4-6 of primary school (upper grades)
Group C: Junior high school students
Group D: High school students (including vocational schools)
龙华区外在校生：
E1组：小学低年段1-3年级
E2组：小学高年段4-6年级
E3组：初中组
E4组：高中组（含职校）
Students outside Longhua District:
Group E1: Grades 1-3 of primary school (lower grades)
Group E2: Grades 4-6 of primary school (upper grades)
Group E3: Junior high school students

活动要求
Presentation Requirements
个人展示
Individual Presentations
1.自备演讲服饰、道具和妆容，自行录制演讲视频上传。
The participants shall prepare the speech costumes, props and makeup, record and submit the speech video.
2.演讲视频长度控制在3分钟内。
The length of the speech video shall be limited to 3 minutes.
3.演讲语种为英语或小语种，需制作中外双语字幕。
The language of the speech shall be English or other foreign languages, and bilingual subtitles in both Chinese and a certain foreign language (preferably English) are required.
团队展示
Group Presentations
1.自备演讲服饰、道具和妆容，各学校录制4-10名左右学生共同完成的演讲视频。
The groups shall prepare the speech costumes, props and makeup. Please record a speech video jointly completed by around 4-10 students from each school.
2.视频长度控制在5-10分钟内。
The length of the record video shall be 5-10 minutes.
3.演讲语种为英语或小语种（也可多语种混合），需加上中外双语字幕。
The language of the speech shall be English or other foreign languages (can also be delivered in multiple languages), with subtitles in both Chinese and a certain foreign language (preferably English).

Submission Methods
龙华区内学校
Schools in Longhua District
龙华区内学生由学校根据区内通知文件统一报送。
Students from Longhua District will have their works submitted through their respective schools in accordance with notification document(s) of the district authority.
龙华区外学校
Schools outside Longhua District
Students outside Longhua District are required to scan the QR code below to fill in the application form and send the video works to [email protected]. The subject title and attachment should be named: Group + Individual (or Group) + Place Name (city/district) + School Name + Application Form for the Fourth “Voice of Chinese Youth” Foreign Language Speech Event.

奖项设置
Award Settings
个人展示将按比例评出一、二、三等奖若干名。获奖学生及指导老师将获得官方颁发的荣誉证书。
Individual presentations will be awarded the first, second, and third prizes. The award-winning students and their mentors will receive official certificates of honour.
团体展示各学校将按组别角逐冠、亚、季军以及其它奖项若干，并发放相应的荣誉证书。
In the group presentations, schools will compete for the first, second, third prizes and several other wards, based on their respective groups. The award-winning schools will receive corresponding honorary certificates.
