3) View Composer 支援的資料庫

View Composer 需要使用 SQL 資料庫來存儲資料。View Composer 資料庫必須駐留在 View Composer伺服器。

如果目前已存在适用于 vCenter Server 的資料庫伺服器，且它的版本是下面清單中所列的版本，那麼 View Composer 可以使用現有資料庫伺服器。例如，View Composer 可以使用 vCenter Server 附帶的 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 或 2008 Express 執行個體。如果目前沒有資料庫伺服器，則必須安裝一個。

View Composer 支援 vCenter Server 所支援的部分資料庫伺服器。如果您已将 vCenter Server 與不受 View Composer 支援的資料庫伺服器一起使用，請繼續将該資料庫伺服器用于 vCenter Server，并單獨安裝一個資料庫伺服器以供 View Composer 和 View Manager 資料庫事件使用。

注 意：

如果您在 vCenter Server 所在的 SQL Server 執行個體上建立 View Composer 資料庫，請勿覆寫 vCenter

如果View Composer伺服器一定需要加入域，而且DNS必須指向域中的DNS伺服器。

在View 5.2中View Composer不再需要和VCenter安裝在同一台伺服器上面，是以可以配合vCenter Server Appliance

本次測試的的vCenter Server+ View Composer的IP 192.168.170.82 DNS 192.168.170.80。

步驟1：建立View Composer資料庫

SQL Server 2008 Express中建立一個名為View Composer的資料庫。

步驟2：在View Composer伺服器中配置ODBC

在View Composer伺服器中打開“控制台à管理工具àODBC資料源管理器”，點選“系統DSN”，點選“添加”。

在“建立資料源”中請選擇“SQL Native Client”，點選“完成”。

在“Create a New Data Source to SQL Server”的Name中輸入“view_composer”，并選擇SQL Server名稱，點選“下一步”。

輸入賬戶憑證，點選“下一步”

選擇正确的資料庫，即之前我們建立的“view_composer”，點選“下一步”。

測試ODBC連接配接，保證資料庫連接配接正常。

步驟3：輕按兩下View Composer安裝包，開始安裝View Composer。

步驟4：在“Destination Folder”确定View Composer安裝位置，如果需要修改請通過“Change”按鈕選擇您的目标位置。

步驟5：設定View Composer的資料庫，在“ODBC DSN Setup”輸入先前設定好的ODBC連接配接即“view_composer”，并在下方輸入資料庫的連接配接使用者名和密碼。

步驟6：設定View Composer通信端口，預設為18443沒有特殊情況，建議不要修改。點選“Next”，開始安裝View Composer。
