Hey guys! It's Hadar. And this is the Accent's Way.

大家好,我是 Hadar,這裡是 the Accent's Way。

And today I have a list for you of the top ten words for tech professionals.

今天我為大家列出了科技專業人士常用的十大詞彙。

What are tech professionals? Let me tell you.

什麼是專業技術人員?讓我來告訴你。

We have IT professionals and developers.

我們有 IT 專業人員和開發人員。

And software engineers, and I have a list cause I asked my friend because I have no idea.

還有軟體工程師,我有一個清單,這都是我問我朋友的,因為我不知道。

We have big data developers, DevOps, full-staff team leaders, automation engineers, infrastructure administrators, product managers, project managers, scientists, senior algorithm developers.

我們有大資料開發人員、DevOps、全員團隊上司、自動化工程師、基礎設施管理者、産品經理、項目經理、科學家、進階算法開發人員。

Senior algorithm developers. So let's get started.

進階算法開發人員。讓我們開始吧!。

Algorithm.

算法。

'Al-g'ri-th'm', notice it's not 'al-go-ri-th'm'.

注意,是“Al-g'ri-th'm”,不是“al-go-ri-th'm”。

There is no O. "æ" as in cat.

沒有“O”音。開頭是“cat”裡的“æ”音。

Primary stress on the first syllable.

重音放在第一個音節上。

/Al-g'-ri-th'm/.

/Al-g'-ri-th'm/。

And don't forget to stick the tongue out for the TH.

發“TH”音的時候别忘了伸出舌頭。

Developer.

開發商。

Primary stress is on the second syllable.

主重音在第二個音節上。

'D-ve-l'.

'D-ve-l'。

There is no O. /D'-ve-l'-p'r/.

沒有“O”音。/D'-ve-l'-p'r/。

No E either.

也沒有“E”音。

/D'-ve-l'-p'r/. Editor.

/D'-ve-l'-p'r/。編輯。

Here the T is a flat T and the flat T sounds just like a D in the middle of the word between two vowels.

這裡的“T”是閃音“T”,聽起來就像單詞中間兩個元音之間的“D”音。

So actually you have two sounds here that sound exactly the same.

是以實際上這裡有兩個聲音聽起來完全一樣。

Listen.

聽。

/E-d'-d'r/.

/E-d'-d'r/。

The I is a schwa, the O is a schwa.

“I”是弱讀音,“O”是弱讀音。

So both of them are reduced and they sound the same.

是以它們都是略讀的,聽起來是一樣的。

Listen.

聽。

E-d'-d'r. Not 'e-di-tor'.

是“E-d'-d'r”,不是“e-di-tor”。

Editor.

/E-d'-d'r/。

Primary stress on the first syllable.

重音放在第一個音節上。

This is where you go high in pitch.

這裡是你的最高音。

Editor. Automation.

重音放在第一個音節上。自動化。

/Aa-d'-may-sh'n/.

/Aa-d'-may-sh'n/。

I think the most important feature here is the flat T cause there is no D. It actually sounds like a D. Aa-d'-.

我認為這裡最重要的特征是閃音“T”,因為這裡沒有“D”音。但實際上聽起來就像“D”音。Aa-d'-。

Not 'aa-to-may-sh'n', but 'aa-d'-may'.

不是/aa-to-may-sh'n/。

Primary stress, 'aa-d'may-sh'n'.

注意主重音,應該是/aa-d 'may-sh’/。

'Sh'n' at the end.

最後是“Sh'n”音。

Automation. Architecture.

/ɔːtəˈmeɪʃ(ə)n/。建築師。

Primary stress is on the first syllable 'ar' as in car.

初音重音在第一個音節“ar”上,發音和“car”裡的“ar”一樣。

Then we have the 'k' sound, 'Ar-ki' like kid.

然後我們有“k”的發音,發音像“kid”裡的“ki”,“Ar-ki”。

Tek. Technology.

然後是“technology”裡的“tek”。

Ar-ki-tek.

/Ar-ki-tek。。

Ch as in chips.

“Chips”中的“Ch”音。

Ch'r. Ch'r.

Ch'r./Ch'r/。

Bring the tongue up immediately for the R. Ch'r.

發“R”音的時候,舌頭馬上擡起來。/Ch'r/。

Firewall.

防火牆。

Ugh, who invented this word? It is so difficult.

誰發明了這個詞?太難了。

Start with 'fai-y', you have a 'ya' sound there, 'fai-yr'.

以“faiy -y”開頭,這裡有一個“ya”音,“fai-yr”。

And then the trick here is to shift from the R to the W. What's the difference?

這裡的技巧是從“R”音移到“W”音。有什麼不同?

For the R the tongue is up 'fay-y'r' and for the "waal" your lips are rounded but the tongue is down.

發“R”音時,舌頭是向上的,發“waal”音時,嘴唇是圓的,舌頭是向下的。

If you keep the tongue up because it's very comfortable then it's going to sound weird and muffled.

如果你因為感覺很舒服就把舌頭往上翹,那你的聲音就會很奇怪、很悶。

Fai-y'r-wol.

/Fai-y'r-wol/。

Round your lips for the R, bring the tongue up 'fai-y'r', and then bring it down, 'wa'.

噘起嘴唇發“R”音,舌頭向上發“fai-y’r”音,然後向下發“wa”音。

Open your mouth for the 'aa' as in father, 'Waal'.

張開你的嘴,這裡的發音是“father”中的“aa”,“waal”。

And then bring the tongue up again for the dark L. Fai-y'r-waal.

然後再把舌頭提上來,發深“L”音。/Fai-y'r-waal/。

Waal.

/Waal/。

Aal, aal. Waal.

/Fai-y'r-waal/。

Hardware.

硬體。

Software.

軟體。

Two things you wanna remember about this one.

關于這個你要記住兩件事。

It's a set phrase, so the first word is going to be a little higher in pitch and slower.

這是一個固定的短語,是以第一個單詞的音高會稍高一些,速度會稍慢一些。

Hard-wer.

/Hard-wer/。

Saa-ft-wer.

/Saa-ft-wer/。

The second part is not reduced.

第二部分沒有縮減。

It's not hard-were like "we were working", but where as in "where are you?" Hard-wer.

這裡的發音不像“were”,而是“where”。/Hard-wer/。

So you need to slow it down here a little bit.

是以你需要把速度放慢一點。

Again, not 'hard-were' and 'saaft-wer'.

再說一次,不是“hard-were”和“saaft-wer”。

Take your time, stretch the words, open your mouth.

慢慢來,把音拉長,張開你的嘴。

Framework.

構架。

Lots of r's.

這裡有很多“r”。

Start with the nice strong R, round your lips: fray,/ei/as in day, 'fraym-w'rk'.

以優美有力的“R”音開頭,繞着你的嘴唇:fray,就像“day” 裡的/ei/音,/fraym-w'rk/。

Here you have no O so it's not 'w'ork', 'w'rk'.

這裡沒有“O”音,,是以不是“w'ork”,而是“w'rk”。

Round your lips for the W and then pull the tongue in immediately for an R. W'rk.

發“W”音時噘起嘴唇,發“R”音時馬上把舌頭收上來。/W'rk/。

It's a set phrase, like high school.

這是固定短語,就像“high school”這個短語一樣。

So frame is going to be a little higher in pitch.

是以“frame”的音高會高一點。

Fraym-w'rk.

/Fraym-w'rk/。

Framework.

/ˈfreɪmwɜːk/。

Server.

伺服器。

It is not "ser-ver".

不是“ser-ver”。

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/.

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/。

So here both vowels are the same.

是以,這裡兩個元音是一樣的。

'Sɜ' as in "yes sir".

這裡的/Sɜ/和“yes sir”中的發音一樣。

No S sound in the middle.

中間沒有“S”音。

Shift from the S to the R directly,"Sɜ".

直接從“S”音轉到“R”音,/Sɜ/。

And then from the V to the R directly.

然後直接從“V”音到“R”音。

They rhyme.

很押韻。

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/.

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/。

Primary stress on the first syllable.

重音放在第一個音節上。

S'r-v'r. V'r, v'r.

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/。

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/.

/ˈsɜːvə (r)/。

It's a pleasure to server you.

很高興為您服務。

Infrastructure.

基礎設施。

Infrastructure.

/ˈɪnfrəstrʌktʃə(r)/。

So before saying this word just take a deep breath.

是以在說這個詞之前,先深呼吸。

Infrastructure. Primary stress is on the first syllable and then a lot of reduced syllables.

主重音在第一個音節上,然後是許多弱讀音節。

In-fr'-struk-ch'r.

/ˈɪnfrəstrʌktʃə(r)/。

In-fr'-struk-ch'r.

/ˈɪnfrəstrʌktʃə(r)/。

That's it guys.

就是這些啦!
