Hong Liangji (October 17, 1746 – June 24, 1809), originally known as Honglian (洪莲), courtesy name Junzhi (君直), courtesy name Zhizhi (王直), courtesy name Zhicun (稚存), alias Beijiang (北江) and Gengsheng (進生居士), was a native of Yanghu, Jiangsu (present-day Changzhou, Jiangsu), whose ancestral home was Shexian County, Anhui. Qing Dynasty minister, scribe, and writer, one of the seven sons of Biling.
In his early years, he repeatedly tried his brothers, and successively served as the shogunate of Anhui Xuezheng Zhu Jun, and the Shaanxi Inspector Bi Yuan. In the fifty-fifth year of Qianlong (1790), when he was forty-five years old, he was a high school leader, and was awarded the title of editor of the Hanlin Academy and a compiler of the National History Museum. In the fifty-seventh year of Qianlong, he served as the examiner of the township examination in Shuntianfu, and later oversaw the study of government in Guizhou. On the third day of the first month of March in the second year of Jiaqing (March 30, 1797), he entered the study room and taught the emperor's great-grandson Yichun to read. In the third year of Jiaqing, He took the exam hanlin and Zhan Shi on the theme of recruiting cults, and Hong Liangji wrote an essay, trying to chen thousands of words of internal and external maladministration, which was taboo at the time, and resigned and returned to his hometown with the funeral of his brother. In the fourth year of Jiaqing, he used it for the university scholar Zhu Jue and participated in the compilation and revision of the Records of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty. In the same year, he wrote a letter entitled "Beggars will return to the Prince of Beicheng Jiyan Shi Zhengqi", angered the Jiaqing Emperor, imprisoned and convicted of death, and later exiled to Ili. After 100 days, he was released and returned home, and from then on home to write.
Hong Liangji is proficient in the study of historical harmony and rhyme, and is good at writing poetry and script. He is the author of the Collected Poems of Scroll Shi Ge, the Collected Poems of Fu Xuan Xuan, the Collected Poems of Gengsheng Zhai, the Han Wei Yin, the Poetry of Beijiang, and the Spring and Autumn Left Transmission.
