Let the power of fusion continue!

Special Olympics International and WWE have announced that they will extend their global partnership over the next few years to create a new era of convergence through the power of sport. WWE will continue to support the Special Olympics Fusion Movement, which brings people with intellectual disabilities and non-intellectual disabilities together on one team. The rationale for this is simple: training and playing together is a shortcut to building friendships and understanding. WWE Superstars will continue to interact with Special Olympics athletes around the world through fusion sports. Over the past few years, WWE Superstars have participated in fusion football in Italy, fusion flag football in Arizona, fusion football in Las Vegas, fusion football in the United Arab Emirates, and a number of other competitions, seminars and leadership conferences. The superstars also join Special Olympics athletes in encouraging them to train and congratulating them on their achievements.
