Introduction: When it comes to corruption, it has never been broken since ancient times, even in the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang saw a corrupt official kill one, but he could not put an end to the corruption of officials. Since ancient times, there have been many corrupt officials and few Clean officials, which is an indisputable fact, especially in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, and it is even more popular among the people that there are no officials and no greed.
The most famous corrupt official during the Qing Dynasty was He yan, although he was a big corrupt official, he was also a capable official in the Qianlong period, because He Yan's ability was too outstanding, resulting in the Qianlong Emperor knowing that He Yan was greedy, but he could not do without him.
It was not until after the Jiaqing Emperor ascended the throne that Hezhen was killed by Jiaqing, and the original Jiaqing gave death to Hezhen, which filled the treasury, but after a few years, he regretted killing Heqing.
In the Qing Dynasty, in addition to the fact that he was still alive after being discovered by the Qianlong Emperor for corruption, there was another person who was found by the Kangxi Emperor and died well, and this person was the important minister of the Kangxi period- Nalan Mingzhu.
Nalan Mingzhu once had power in the opposition, had the title of Xiangguo, was a Manchurian Zhenghuangqi person, once served as the chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shangshu of the Punishment Department, Prince Taifu and so on.
Naran Mingzhu was Kangxi's right-hand man, and he contributed many credits to the abolition of San Francisco and the reunification of Taiwan, but he also committed the capital crimes of collusion with the party and corruption.
In the 27th year of Kangxi, he was beaten to death row and sentenced to death by Kangxi for embezzlement, and he was also put on death row to wait for Qiuhou to be beheaded.
Since naran Mingzhu was imprisoned, he was not willing to be killed like this, so he pondered on death row how to get away with it.
Nalan Mingzhu was able to be reused by Kangxi, and it was entirely by virtue of his own ingenuity that he stepped step by step to the peak of the power and became Kangxi's right and left arm.
In addition to reusing the Pearl of Naran, Kangxi also reused a minister, this minister was Suo Etu, who was born into a rich family, his father was Sony, who was the head of the four auxiliary ministers, and his niece was Kangxi's empress.
Naran Mingzhu and Soetu were both ambitious, and they both recruited their own henchmen in the DPRK in order to one day help their esteemed prince ascend to the throne.
Nalan Mingzhu supported his nephew The Great Brother Yinzhen, but Suo Ertu was fully assisting the Second Brother Yin, who was made crown prince by Kangxi.
The two fought in the middle of the court for many years, Kangxi at first turned a blind eye, but Naran Mingzhu and Suo Ertu did not know the convergence at all, and the court fighting method became more and more intense, Kangxi finally couldn't bear it, and decided to take the two of them to open the knife and use it to shock the court.
Kangxi knew very well that if he wanted to clean up the two people, he would have to divide them into orders, and if the two were investigated together, he was afraid that it would make the government and the opposition turbulent, and after thinking about it again and again, Kangxi decided to attack Nalan Mingzhu first.
Kangxi summoned an imperial envoy and handed him evidence of Naran Mingzhu's corruption, hoping that the imperial envoy would impeach Naran Mingzhu for corruption in the early dynasty.
Kangxi also made a special confession that the imperial envoy would impeach only Nalan Mingzhu and not involve many of his henchmen, the purpose of which was to prevent his henchmen from forming a group and causing turmoil in the court.
In the early dynasty, Yushi took out ironclad evidence of Nalan Mingzhu's corruption, and before Nalan Mingzhu could defend himself a few words, Kangxi put him on death row for "embezzlement".
After Naran Mingzhu entered death row, many of his henchmen saw that they were not implicated, and naturally watched from the sidelines, and none of them were willing to intercede for him.
Nalan Mingzhu was not willing to be killed by Kangxi in this way, and he thought about it and finally thought of a way to save his life.
Nalan Mingzhu had already guessed Kangxi's thoughts thoroughly, nothing more than not wanting to make things bigger, but what Naran Mingzhu had to do now was to make things bigger, and only when things got bigger, implicated many of his henchmen and mixed up the water, he would have a chance to live.
When Naran Mingzhu was arrested for the second trial, he not only admitted to the officials in the court that he was corrupt, but also said that he had a large number of henchmen and tried to commit rebellion.
When Suo Ertu learned of this, he immediately played Kangxi in the early dynasty, saying that Mingzhu and his henchmen intended to rebel, and asked Kangxi to wipe out Nalan Mingzhu and his henchmen in one fell swoop.
At this point, Nalan Mingzhu's henchmen all stopped doing it, and jumped out one after another to try to protect Nalan Mingzhu, Kangxi made a mistake, if all of Nalan Mingzhu's henchmen were eliminated, it was bound to make Suo'ertu and his henchmen dominate the imperial court.
Conclusion: After much thought, Kangxi finally had to save Naran Mingzhu, release him from death row, and let him reinstate him from office to maintain the balance of the court, so naran Mingzhu lived for another twenty years until his death.
