Performance beast! NVIDIA Announces RTX 3090 Ti: 11% More HashRate at 40T

At the CES 2022 event, NVIDIA finally unveiled the RTX 3090 Ti graphics card.

Parameters that have been announced include the integration of 24GB GDDR6X memory (384bit bit width) and the 21Gbps pin speed claimed to be the fastest currently available.

In terms of performance, the coloring unit hash rate of 40T, the computing power of the light chasing unit is 78T, and the computing power of the AI unit is 320T, and even NVIDIA itself calls this a performance monster.

In contrast, the RTX 3090 and 3090 Ti public FE have similar shapes and the memory capacity is also the same, but the memory speed is 7.7% faster (the total bandwidth is 1TB/s). The colored floating-point performance is 11% better than the RTX 3090 (36T), and the RTX 3090 Ti will be 10% better than the RTX 3090 on paper.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA said details of the RTX 3090 Ti won't be fully available until the end of the month.

Breaking news pointed out that the RTX 3090 Ti uses a complete 8nm GA102 core, a 10752 CUDA core, a base frequency of 1560 MHz, an acceleration frequency of 1860 MHz, and the power consumption is increased to 450W, etc., and the price may be 1899~2000 US dollars.
