With the New Era Civilization Practice Center as the main position, the provincial, municipal, county, and township levels have jointly carried out demonstration activities for the promotion of rural reading in the new era of civilization practice, and a number of advanced models have emerged. Weifang City planned in advance, and the city, county, and township held a mobilization and deployment meeting at the first time to organize the peasant masses to take the lead in carrying out a series of reading activities in the province. According to the relevant person in charge of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial CPC Committee, during the activity, the rankings of various localities in the "New Era Rural Reading Season" were announced every week, and the media and platforms such as the Internet, newspapers, periodicals, radio, and television were used to widely publicize the good experiences, good practices, and advanced deeds that emerged in the "New Era Rural Reading Season" activities, and to continuously publicize and guide them, thus stimulating the enthusiasm of the broad masses of peasants to participate in reading.

According to statistics, online and offline rural reading activities have been widely carried out in various parts of the province, with a total number of participants reaching 2 million.
