"The body is like a paper tent plum dream, the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poetry that the wind and snow cannot cover

The season is the wings of the bird, whistling, whistling, flapping, what is hoped for, bright and gorgeous, momentarily without a trace. Winter is a small advertisement in the lower corner of the computer, no matter how to drive, it insists on coming on time. Whether it is dislike or joy, natural preferences do not depend on man's beliefs. The heart is as wide as heaven and earth, and the heavens and the earth are naturally wide.

"Dawning to Remember the Night Sentence"

[Song] White Jade Toad

Maoya is full of poetry, and the wind is white one day.

The body is like a paper tent plum blossom dream, and the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress.

White Jade Toad (1194—?) ), the real name Ge Changgeng, because after the Leizhou Bai clan, changed to the current name. The characters Bai Shu ( 白叟 ), Yi Yue ( Yi Yue ) , Zhongfu ( Zhongfu ) , Hai Qiongzi , Hainan Weng , Qiongshan Daoist , Gong'an , Wuyi Sanren , Shenxiao Sanren , and ZiQing Zhenren ( Minqing ( now part of Fujian ) , were born in Qiongshan ( now part of Hainan ) . After his death, Nan traveled through famous mountains, wrote in seclusion, and devoted himself to spreading Dan Dao, and was one of the fifth generations of Nanzong, that is, one of the "Five Ancestors of the South", and after his ascension, he was named "Purple Qingming Dao Zhenren", known as "Mr. Ziqing". He is the author of many works, and his disciple Peng Yun compiled it into the Collected Works of Mr. Haiqiong Yutou, which consists of forty volumes.

"The body is like a paper tent plum dream, the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poetry that the wind and snow cannot cover

The first sentence, "Maoya Xiaoran's poetry is full of poetry", writes about two situations, one of which is naturally "Thatched House Xiaoran", which belongs to the description of the surrounding things; the other is the conclusion of the poet's personal emotions, "Poetry full of love". Mao, with "thatch", thatch. Xiao Ran, simple, cited as empty and depressed, see Tao Qian's "Biography of Mr. Wuliu": "Block Xiao Ran, do not cover the wind and day." ”

At dawn, the poet awoke from his dream and looked around him: the simple thatched hut, full of desolation, appeared empty and silent, and even the sound of the wind could not be resisted. In such a difficult situation, no difficulty can eliminate the poet's inner poetry.

The environment is not absolute, it is relative for the state of mind. The poet first contrasts with two very different kinds, and the hardships presented may only reflect the optimism of the poet. All his poetic feelings are basically based on extremely dangerous real-life situations.

"The body is like a paper tent plum dream, the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poetry that the wind and snow cannot cover

In the second sentence, "One day the wind is white and white", the poet turns his brushstrokes and suddenly describes the specific natural scene. It describes the white appearance of frost and snow. After a storm of snow all day, the world became white and flawless, and all the ugly things that could be observed with the naked eye were covered up.

Here, time suddenly comes out and looks particularly dazzling. Indeed, it is a long stage, whitewashing the first conditions of the whole world, which happen to take time to accumulate. Outside of time, the power from nature is also extraordinary, such as the necessary wind and snow, otherwise it is difficult to achieve the ultimate goal of "white".

This delicate narrative of natural scenes, then, is not superfluous and cumbersome, but precisely to highlight the "poetic fullness" written earlier. The harsh environment and the confused world situation cannot erase the poetry that emerges in the poet's heart, and the sudden storm and snow have become a good lyrical background.

"The body is like a paper tent plum dream, the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poetry that the wind and snow cannot cover

In the last two sentences, "The body is like a plum dream of a paper tent, and the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poet turns to the depiction of his own state of mind, the novelty of his metaphor, and the detail of his description, all of which are breathtaking. Although the body is as fragile as a paper tent, it is still full of sweet dreams when the plum blossoms are in full bloom; the inner toughness is like a copper incense burner, which is full of ash after the burning of cypress incense. The so-called "resurgence" is more or less the same.

In fact, whether it is "the body is like a paper tent" or "the heart is like an incense burner", it is very much in line with the poet's words: "The heavens and the earth are the same as me, and all things are the same as me" ("Crane Forest Ask"), in his simple concept, only matter is immortal, "in and out of nothingness, but also back to chaos" ("Quotations of Haiqiong Bai Zhenjun").

As for the specific "plum blossom dream" and "baizi ash", it can be said that it is a "remembrance" after the "awakening" in the title, and it can also be said to be a deep reflection on its own smallness and weakness. It is precisely from his own weak thoughts that the poet has to reflect on the longevity of matter, the contrast between the two is strong, and the silent end after the brilliance makes people more and more moved.

"The body is like a paper tent plum dream, the heart is like the ash of the incense burner cypress", the poetry that the wind and snow cannot cover

For the poetry of the white jade toad, the predecessors gave a relatively high evaluation, saying that his poems were "empty and ethereal", "majestic and magnificent", and praised as "the pen of the weeping spring". Perhaps, it is closely related to its Taoist identity. His peculiar imagination is always based on a simple materialist view, pinning on his own belief that "walking the path and following the law, listening to its nature" ("Crane Forest French").
