This year's Fringe Festival continues to implement the concept of "the whole city stage, everywhere the audience, everyone artist". The Secretary for Cultural Affairs of the Macao SAR Government, Moo Shin Shin Shin, said that this year's Fringe Festival has the theme of "Breaking the Gap", allowing art to jump from the regular venue to the place of daily life, so that every audience can get closer to art and creativity.

The Asian premiere of the immersive program "0AR" will be staged in Taipa Central Park; "Bamboo Powder Master" will be held in front of the lobby, a three-meter-high face sculpture doll will be set up on the spot, and some performers will play the role of flour dolls to interact with the audience; "Kicking Hall Competition" brought by 16 young dancers will stage a street dance duel in front of Ban Zhangtang, featuring Latin dance and Chinese dance; the multimedia art installation "Seeking seasons" will interpret the art of ink with new technology, combining Macao's real-time weather data with ink art. Create a display space that is both virtual and realistic.

In particular, the Cultural Affairs Bureau pointed out that it will make proper arrangements for art and cultural activities in strict accordance with the relevant epidemic prevention guidelines of the health department. Participating members of the public are required to wear masks, undergo temperature checks, present the day's personal health code, maintain appropriate social distancing, and cooperate with the relevant epidemic prevention and on-site crowd arrangements.
