ChunYu Qinfei Chen was a clothed woman from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, her father was a second-class bodyguard Chen Xiyi, although Chen belonged to the Interior Ministry, but from the point of view of blood, she was a Han Chinese, and was eligible to participate in the palace women's draft.
In the thirty-third year of the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, the 13-year-old Chen Shi participated in the palace women's draft, and she was very good in all aspects, and she was favored by Kangxi and selected into the harem, and soon she was summoned by the emperor to become a concubine. In the thirty-sixth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the Chen clan was fortunate to give birth to a crown prince, who ranked seventeenth among Kangxi's many sons and was named Yin Li.
It is said that the seventeenth brother Yunli was loved by his father Kangxi from an early age, and began to travel with him at the age of nine, and because of his young age, Yunli basically did not participate in Kangxi's struggle for concubines in his later years. However, there is another possibility, when the Kangxi Dynasty was sixty years old, Yunli was already a 25-year-old adult prince, and it was also possible that he would participate in the conquest of the concubine at this time, and from the end, Yunli undoubtedly supported the fourth son of the emperor, Yin Chan, the later Yongzheng Emperor.
After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, Yunli was first made the Prince of Guo, and six years later he was made a prince by Jin, and began to manage the household department, becoming one of Yongzheng's most important brothers. Yunli's mother, Chen Shi, was crowned as a concubine in the 57th year of the Kangxi Dynasty for her birth, and after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, she was honored as an imperial concubine, and was treated favorably by the Yongzheng Emperor.
Moreover, on his deathbed, Yongzheng also ordered Prince Yunli of Guo to assist his son Qianlong, and after Qianlong succeeded to the throne, Yunli's mother Chen Shi was honored as The Crown Princess Zu ChunYuqin. However, there was one thing that made the Chen clan very uneasy, that is, her son Yunli did not have a son to inherit the title, and it just so happened that Yunli's health was not very good, and Qianlong died in three years, so Qianlong passed on the young sixth brother Hongyao to Yunli and inherited the title of King of Guojun.
In December of the eighteenth year of Qianlong, Chen died of illness in the Forbidden City, and his nickname was Pure Yu Qinfei, and as a result, Chen became the last concubine of the Qing Dynasty to enjoy the title of Concubine. Subsequently, Chen was buried in the Kangxi Jing Mausoleum Concubine Garden.
Note: Among the many concubines of Kangxi, Shunyi Mifei and Chunyu Qinfei were two more special ones, although they were born from a lower origin, they were fortunate to give birth to sons for Kangxi, and they were reused by Yongzheng and Qianlong, so that these two people could be honored and enjoyed the title, and their historical status was even higher than that of The early Kangxi Dynasty.
