"Kim Ji-young, born in 1982", has been the best-selling overseas work of Korean literature in the past five years

Yonhap News Agency, January 18 news, the Korean Literature Translation Institute released a survey results on January 18, showing that in the Korean literary works published overseas from 2016 to 2020, the writer Cho Nam-joo's "Kim Ji-young born in 1982" is the best-selling, and more than 300,000 copies have been sold in 10 language versions during this period, especially in Japan, which has sold more than 200,000 copies since its publication in 2018. In addition, novelist Han Jiang's "Vegetarian" sold 160,000 copies in 13 language circles. Writer Sun Yuanping's "Almonds" sold more than 90,000 copies in Japan, and Ding Yujing's "Origin of Species" sold more than 20,000 copies in Brazil.
