Apple boss Cook's worries are a bit much. He was stalked and harassed for more than a year by a 45-year-old woman who identified herself as Cook's wife and bore him twins and demanded $500 million. As we all know, Cook announced his appearance as early as 2014. What is this dog blood plot?
What the???
Apple's boss, the thick-eyed Cook, has been targeted!
This is not to say that he was investigated by the government department, nor was he calculated by competitors, but that he was really targeted by a person. The man was a 45-year-old woman, probably carrying a gun, who had been following Cook back and forth for more than a year.
Twin fathers? Cook stall is in trouble
On January 25, local time, Apple claimed that it had applied to the court for a restraining order against the woman and had been approved.
The woman, Julia Lee Choi, 45, from Virginia, was accused of making multiple threats against Cook, including emailing him photos of a loaded pistol and trespassing on his home, according to court documents.
Apple's request for a restraining order was filed on Thursday and approved on Friday.
Apple said in her application that the woman began harassing Cook in October 2020, saying on Twitter that they were married and that Cook had given birth to her twin children.
Don't forget, Cook officially declared himself gay back in 2014.
The woman's Twitter ID is "Julia Lee Cook", and even her Own Twitter cover has Cook's own figure on it, which seems to really treat herself and Cook as a family.
The current profile photo is like this, a standard snake essence red face:
In its restraining order application, Apple said it sent 200 emails to Cook between October and November 2020 that showed a "marked escalation" and "threatening and highly unsettling."
At the time, she tweeted that she was Cook's wife, the father of her twin children.
In one of the emails she wanted to have a relationship with Cook, she said she had "almost exhausted all of her patience."
Although the specific content of these emails was not fully disclosed, it can be seen from the woman's tweets sent at the time that Apple's claims may not have been alarmist.
The woman's many tweets from October to November 2020 were almost all related to Cook, and the content did have a "significant escalation of tone", basically showing affection in the void.
She pulled Google CEO Sandra Pichai down the water on Twitter, saying that he had tried several times to destroy his relationship with Cook and that he fully understood Cook's past, and that he had no choice but to do so.
In addition, there are some strong-line threats, such as warning to the other party that the other party must take Cook, because Cook belongs to her alone.
The target of the threat is no one else, it is Microsoft CEO Nadella.
In November 2020, the following paragraph appeared on a Facebook account with Julia Lee Cook as the ID. She said that one of the things she regretted the most was that she gave back the gun she bought, and said that she would never forgive this time.
It looked like she did have a gun before, and her mental state was worrying. However, whether it is a Twitter or Facebook account, its number of followers is almost negligible, the influence is almost zero, if it is just posting, it may not let Apple apply to the court for a restraining order.
But then she came to the door.
The woman came to the door to look for Cook
Since September last year, the woman has been fascinated by Cook's home in Palo Alto and sent him an email saying she wanted to "live" with Him.
After no response, the entangled situation continued to escalate.
On Oct. 22, the woman drove a Porsche Macan SUV from Virginia to Palo Alto and suddenly appeared at Cook's home.
Police in Palo Alto allegedly stopped the woman who was trying to escape, and the woman said she just wanted to talk to Cook.
After searching her car, the police did not find any weapons. But because her driver's license expired, she temporarily towed the car away.
The woman said at the time she might become more violent.
The woman then went on to email Cook, who provided the address of an Airbnb apartment in San Jose. After investigation by the police, it was found that the woman did not live in the place.
A week before Christmas 2021, on December 18, the woman again sent a harassing email to Cook, demanding $500 million in damages and saying "better listen to me, then I'll forget and forgive everyone."
In addition, the woman registered fake companies in California, Virginia and New York, some of which had explicit names and referred to Cook as a company director, director or agent.
On January 1, 2022, the woman opened a new Twitter account (@noone75253951) and once again made violent remarks against Cook.
A recent email also asked Cook to move out of his home.
Apple said in its application that the woman "may be carrying a weapon and is still in the South Bay area and intends to return to Cook's residence in the near future."
A restraining order issued by the court prohibited the woman from possessing a firearm, from approaching any Apple employees, including Cook, and from entering any of Apple's properties and Cook's residence.
For now, neither Apple nor the lawyers who filed the petition have answered questions about what might be done to protect Cook, employees and the public.
Steven Clark, a former santa Clara County prosecutor, said the court "tends to proceed with caution" when someone applies for a restraining order.
However, the premise of granting a restraining order is that "a dangerous event may occur at any time and the person being restricted must have the ability to carry out the threat."
A hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 29.
Netizen: Forgot to do backtracking before blackmail?
For Cook was threatened by a 45-year-old woman, after reading the comments of netizens, I couldn't laugh.
Some netizens said, "Cook: Fortunately, I officially announced it early."
