On January 26th, the professional special invitation exhibition of "Future City | Zaha Hadid Architects Special Exhibition" sponsored by the Chengdu Eastern New District Management Committee was officially opened at the Future Design Art Center of Chengdu Eastern New District. This is the first time that the Future Design Art Center has held a large-scale public art event after its completion, and it is also the second stop of the "Zaha Hadid Architects Special Exhibition" in Chinese mainland and the first exhibition in the west.
According to reports, with the theme of "Future City", the special exhibition was brought by Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) to bring more than 100 original models, renderings, photography and audio-visual materials and other heavy exhibits, through the sustainable, park and headquarters, high-rise buildings, complexes, cultural buildings, sports facilities, computing and design research and other eleven parts, comprehensively display the legendary "architectural queen" Zaha Hadid and the creation of ZHA more than 40 years of work evolution trajectory, presenting ZHA's design methodology and design process, It shows ZHA's unchanging spirit of innovation and pioneering spirit, as well as the appearance of the future city in the architectural context, explores the ideal form of the "future city" through "architectural design", and focuses on the national strategy of "carbon peak carbon neutrality", and explores the relationship between innovative design and sustainable urban development in the eastern new area of Chengdu.

It is understood that Zaha Hadid is the first female winner in the history of the Pritzker Architecture Prize , known as the Nobel Prize of architecture (2004), the youngest winner, and the first female winner of the Royal Gold Award, the highest award in the British architectural world (2015). As a messenger of art and a symbol of urban culture, Zaha Hadid Architects has always been at the forefront of architecture, art and design, and countless classic and excellent works reflect its revolutionary exploration and research on urban life, architecture and design, which coincides with the urban ideals and arrogance of the future city built in the eastern new area of Chengdu.
It is worth mentioning that the Future Design Art Center, the place where this special exhibition is held, is a new landmark in the eastern new area that embodies the five concepts of "innovation, green, coordination, openness and sharing". It is located in the core of the CBD of Chengdu Eastern New District, within about 800 meters of chengdu eastern new district management committee and Sancha TOD site, about 10 kilometers away from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, with a construction area of about 23,000 square meters, providing office space for well-known architects, design art masters, cutting-edge designers and well-known design studios at home and abroad, and creating art exhibition space and designer sharing platform to form a complete design industry ecology. It is not only an architectural space leading the artistic creativity of the future city, but also a communication platform carrying the pioneering design power of the future.
It is understood that this exhibition will be officially open to the public in mid-to-late February, during the special exhibition, Chengdu Eastern New Area will also invite Zaha Hadid Architects, Tongjiyuan, Southwest Courtyard, Shanghai Institute and other industry big names, jointly with Sanlian Life Weekly and other professional media to carry out cross-border co-creation, carry out the "First Chengdu Future Design Art Week", through a number of parallel exhibitions and architectural art forums, stimulate creative inspiration, and deeply explore the relationship between design innovation and future architecture, life and city.
