So why "Five People" and not "Two People"? To answer this question, we need to go back even further to 2001. That year, Ah Mao came to Guangzhou alone, and at that time he was still selling muzzles. When it comes to playing discs, many young people now don't know what it is, and many people confuse them with pirated discs, which is actually wrong. Discs are prolific because foreign musicians (generally the United States) overestimate sales and were intended to be destroyed to reduce inventory occupation (usually direct cuts or drill holes, etc.), but smuggled discs that flowed into the country because of some special interests were genuine discs of unknown origin.
Far away, then in the process of playing discs, Ah Mao was also influenced by a lot of imported culture and art, and also learned to play guitar, he wanted to express his inner emotions and ideas, so he also formed a band, at that time there were only four members of the band. In the Spring Festival of 2003, the first HAIFENG Original Music Festival was successfully held, and Ah Mao's four-member band participated in it and met Renke of "Guo Fu County". In 2004, Renke went to Shipai, Guangzhou, to look for the spoken Ah Mao, and the prototype of the band "Five People" was officially completed. Slowly, the members of the band left one by one, and in the end, only "two people" were left in the "five people", leaving only a band name of "Five People".
Who would have thought that the five-person band with only two people left has always insisted on making its own music, and has been doing it for fifteen or six years at once, and it is getting better and better, and the more it is doing, the more distinctive it is. They sang a true, pure and free attitude to life in Hakka, Haifeng, Cantonese and various dialects, and also made their grassroots band have more and more fans.
