That being the case, it is up to our Chinese brand to personally go down and do what we do best - to beat the price down and create our own, people-friendly driving training academy, which has become a very highly popular thing for many car fans.
So, which brand is best suited to do this? It must be auspicious! On the one hand, as the highest-selling car company in China, Geely has enough financial resources, on the other hand, from Volvo, Lynk & Co and other brands have also accumulated enough trust in safety and performance for Geely, from all dimensions, Geely is afraid that it is "expected".
They also did not disappoint us, this year, Geely's "China Star Dare for elite driving academy" ice and snow season was officially opened in Yakeshi, Inner Mongolia, as an attempt by Geely to create user driving training, a new Chinese brand driving academy was born. As one of the first users to have the privilege of experiencing this activity, I would also like to share my experience and my views on the brand driving academy.
Chinese driving academy
Although independent brands have not done much research on the "driving academy" in the past, with many overseas brands of "pearl jade in front", as long as they are willing to invest, it will not be difficult to do this activity well. Therefore, we can also see that although it is the first time it has been held, it is difficult to pick out anything wrong with geely's elite driving academy in terms of the setting of the training program and the choice of models.
For example, in the most basic and closest to the daily road driving of the ice surface pile, as well as linear acceleration, emergency braking projects, the organizer arranged a Xingrui. In this project, the vehicle was also replaced by the Hoshigoshi L with the Hoshigoshi S, which had been completely shut down by an electronic stability system, due to the need for vehicles to drift at a higher speed.
With previous experience, on the wider and larger radius of the high-speed ice ring, everyone can naturally let go of the hands and feet, resist the accelerator, fine-tune the direction, and the car can move steadily on the ring in an exaggerated posture like one foot of the compass.
Of course, these drift trainings are actually just "starters", after all, if you want to truly reflect the driver's skills and vehicle performance, you still have to rely on the track results, so the final subject of the Geely Elite Driving Academy is two well-designed snow tracks.
The cadets will drive the Hoshikoshi L to compete for the final third place in these two tracks and receive awards and graduation certificates from Geely's official awards.
Perhaps in the eyes of some people, driving a vehicle on the verge of running out of control is a very distant thing, but it is certain that drivers with similar training experience will definitely have better control of the vehicle than ordinary people when faced with unexpected situations or vehicles out of control, and this is the biggest significance of this type of driving control academy.
After the experience, I found that the design of the entire Geely Elite Driving Academy project and process has been almost the same as the driving training of the top brands in the industry mentioned at the beginning of the article, which also means that we finally have our own brand driving academy.
The difference is that the training programs of these top brands are either only for the owners of high-end performance cars of the brand, or they need to buy expensive "entry coupons", which always only serve a small number of people, and the entry of independent brands may represent that there will be more ordinary consumers in the future, who can enjoy such high-end driving training, which can actually play a certain role in promoting domestic automobile culture.

We are also very much looking forward to the official listing of Thor Hybrid, after all, the bydd DM-i, which is also an efficient hybrid, is currently in short supply, and Geely's entry may be able to provide domestic consumers with another reliable and truly fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid model.
A full-fledged Chinese car
From building low-end cars to meet the needs of grass-roots people to constantly rushing to cover models with higher prices; from only burying their heads in selling cars, to knowing how to listen to consumer opinions and provide deeper services for the market; the changes of Chinese brands in recent years are actually obvious to all.
Perhaps there is still a gap between us and foreign brands in terms of volume and maturity, but the era when Chinese brands can only rely on cost performance to impress people no longer exists, and Geely is willing to spend energy and money to build its own driving academy this time, naturally it is also to make up for the last missing puzzle of the current independent brand.
