Recently, Nissan Motor declared the patent map of Pathfinder at the State Intellectual Property Office, combined with the previous relevant information (domestic new generation Infiniti QX60), we can basically confirm that this medium and large SUV is about to be introduced by Dongfeng Nissan, and it is expected to officially meet with consumers at the end of 2022.
The current Nissan Pathfinder is positioned as a medium and large seven-seat SUV with a wheelbase of more than 2.9 meters and a length of more than 5 meters, which was previously mainly for the North American market, and its main competitors were Toyota Highlander and Mazda CX-9. Unlike Tuda, the car adopts a load-bearing body layout, which emphasizes the comfortable space experience of multiple scenes.
Combined with the American version of Pathfinder, the appearance of the domestic Pathfinder shown in the patent picture looks basically unchanged, the front face is made of Nissan family-style V-Motion front grille, the two side headlight groups use a split design, and the towering cabin cover and the wide lower surround also leave a rather burly and domineering impression.
Thanks to the relatively wide body-in-white design, the "triangle window" area at the rear of the car has also been further enlarged, and it is integrated with the black D-pillar and the rear window, and the space and lighting effect are worth looking forward to.
Like the exterior, the interior of the new car also has a clear American big SUV & pickup flavor, the central control armrest is very wide, with a wealth of physical buttons and interactive knob design in the middle, and fashionable elements such as floating central control screen, full LCD instrument panel, and BOSE audio are also essential.
In terms of power, the American version is equipped with a 3.5L V6 self-priming engine, with a maximum power of 288 horsepower and a peak torque of 351 Nm, which is matched by the ZF 9AT transmission, and the four-wheel drive system also has a wide choice of driving modes. As for the domestic version, the car is expected to be equipped with the same VC-Turbo 2.0T inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine as the Infiniti QX60, and equipped with a 9AT transmission.
