On February 7, the Yangchang Police Station of Xuanwei City Public Security Bureau investigated and dealt with a case of crowd gambling, seized 10 people involved in gambling at the scene, and confiscated gambling funds of 37,350 yuan, more than 10 decks of playing cards, and 5 mahjong tables according to law.
In the early morning of the same day, the Yangchang police station learned in the daily patrol work that someone gathered to gamble in the way of playing mahjong and "fishing for pickled vegetables" in the shuangdong village of the Chenwan Village Committee of Yangchang Town. The police immediately disposed of it, and seized 10 people, including Zhang Mouzhu, Wen Mouyong, and Kang Mouling, who were participating in gambling on the spot.
After questioning, Zhang Mouzhu, Wen Mouyong, Kang Mouling and 10 other people truthfully stated the illegal facts of participating in gambling. Zhang Mouzhu, Wen Mouyong, Kang Mouling and 10 others were administratively detained by the Xuanwei City Public Security Bureau in accordance with law.
