Krafton is preparing two anticipated games this year.

In 2021, the company's sales reached 1,886.3 billion won (equivalent to approximately RMB10.03 billion), an increase of 13% over the previous year, operating profit reached 639.6 billion won (equivalent to approximately RMB 3.4 billion), and net profit for the current period reached 519.9 billion won (equivalent to approximately RMB 2.76 billion), setting a new sales record. The company's overseas sales accounted for 94%.

Sales in the fourth quarter reached KRW 444 billion (approximately RMB2.36 billion), an increase of 26% year-on-year.

Among them, sales of PC games reached 114.9 billion won (equivalent to about 610 million yuan), an increase of 92% year-on-year. Mobile game sales reached KRW 303.7 billion (approximately RMB1.61 billion), up 10% year-on-year. Sales of video games reached 6.1 billion won (equivalent to about 32.43 million yuan), down 34% year-on-year.

3. Acquisition of the developer of Smash Legends

In addition, KRAFTON also announced that it has spent 53.8 billion won (equivalent to about 286 million yuan) to acquire all the shares of South Korean game development company 5minlab and make it a part of the company. For this acquisition, KRAFTON said that it is to expand the power of game development.

The representative game of 5minlab is the multi-platform action PVP game Smash Legends. "Smash Legends" has a variety of personalized game characters and casual style of 3D game screen, in about 3 minutes of game time, players can experience the fun of the game through intuitive gameplay and simple operation.
