Sony, which has not been in the game before, has also chosen to join the Competition of the Mini LED TV market at CES in 2022. According to the "Electrical" reporter, Sony released a total of two Mini LED TVs, the top of which is the new flagship Z9K equipped with 8K Mini LED display. The flagship X95K is equipped with a 4K Mini LED display, all of which use Mini LED's new generation backlight control technology. With Sony's entry into the Mini LED TV market, it will play a positive role in promoting the development of the entire industry.

It is worth noting that in addition to mainstream color TV brands, Internet brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi have also joined the Mini LED TV market to seize share.

In Peng Jianfeng's view, the cost of Mini LED TVs is between ordinary LCD TVs and OLED TVs, and it is still in the range of high-end products. However, with the expansion of market size and further decline in costs, Mini LED TVs are expected to gradually enter the mid-range and entry-level consumer markets in 3 to 5 years. Changhong believes that Mini LED backlight technology has a greater role in improving the picture quality of LCD TVs, and some high-end color TV products will continue to use this technology in the next few years, and the market share of Mini LED TVs is expected to reach 5% to 10%. According to the forecast of Aowei Cloud Network (AVC), the market size of Mini LED TVs in China alone will exceed 250,000 units in 2022.
