The City Music Plaza 2021 City Folk Song Contest is hosted by Foshan Media Group and Foshan Radio, sponsored by "Make Youth Simpler" LIGHTSIC, "Strategic Partner" Dongpeng Tile, authoritative folk song label "Folk On the Road", and Martini Guitar to help support.
This is foshan's first large-scale competition with folk music as the theme and carrying the city's new cultural tourism, aiming to activate the music genes from local folk through the recruitment and promotion of players in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, empower the construction of Foshan's urban civilization with music, and use music as a carrier to show Foshan's urban image.
After more than two months, among nearly 100 high-level participating teams from all over the country, after the professional jury selected and evaluated, 12 teams were selected to be shortlisted for the promotion competition, and after the "12 into 3" folk promotion competition, the final three were determined, and they ascended to the final of the city folk song competition and the folk song ceremony, competing for the annual championship.
Big names gathered to set off a wave of folk songs
Wan Xiaoli, the finale guest of the City Folk Song Contest and the leader of domestic folk songs, parachuted into Foshan to bring a wonderful performance to the folk song festival and serve as a judge of the finals!

The well-known South Australian dialect band Toy Captain brings music full of marine atmosphere, allowing you to "surf" freely in the music. In 2018, he won the Best Band and Best Album Design awards at the Chinese Music Media Awards.
There is also a new field orchestra from Shenzhen, this new generation of domestic fashion classical light orchestra, will use the fusion of classical + fashion music to add different colors to the festival!

The second runner, a sugar fresh child from Hohhot, was freshly airlifted from Inner Mongolia to Foshan for two thousand kilometers, singing the melody he composed. Take you into her Neverland island, where she is the "Prairie Rose".

The Mask Band

The third contestant, the mask band from Guangzhou, three big boys who graduated from the conservatory this year. The exquisite finger flick technology of the two men and the clear voice of the male lead sing, interpreting a rich world, they are the "white green apples" that represent youth.
The finals are divided into two rounds, the first round each sings a song, the highest score of two to advance; the second round of each singing, the ultimate PK. The winner and runner-up were selected, and the "Best Style Award" was awarded according to the results of this week's voting.

The theme song of the 2021 Foshan Radio City Folk Song Contest "To Your Ballad", co-curated by Foshan Radio and 13th Culture, will present the first singing on the spot! And together with representatives from all walks of life in Foshan, sing "Song for You" and use folk music to light up the whole city.
This song written for Foshan was composed by Lu Zhongqiang, founder of the "Folk Song on the Road" music label, lyrics by Luo Bing, a well-known lyricist in China, and Zou Yinyin, singer-songwriter of Foshan Radio, and has now landed on major music platforms.
The folk song continued, and the trip to the West River was released
"Xijiang Folk Songs Collection" is hosted by the lead singer of Foshan Radio Band Radio Man, along the Xijiang River Basin, through Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan four provinces and regions, to visit the local folk song and folk song inheritors, and to transform folk songs into materials to create contemporary music works, in the process of "live broadcast + short video + micro-documentary" in the form of dissemination.
