Of course, BYD has many new energy vehicle products, and covers the price range of 100,000-300,000 yuan, which is also difficult for Tesla to achieve at present.
On January 3, Tesla announced its annual sales data. According to the data, Tesla delivered 936,000 new cars worldwide in 2021, an increase of 87% year-on-year, of which Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 484,000 vehicles, an increase of 235% year-on-year, accounting for 51.7% of Tesla's total global deliveries, tesla's first single market in the world. Tesla relied on the Shanghai factory to deliver 484,000 new cars throughout the year, of which 321,000 were retailed in China, and Tesla's monthly sales from September 2021 to January 2022 were 56,006, 54,391, 52,859, 70,847 and 59,845, respectively, with sales of more than 50,000 units for five consecutive months. In terms of specific models, Tesla Model 3 and Model Y are Tesla's domestic sales models. It is worth mentioning that from Tesla's official website in China, it is understood that the current model 3 series is expected to be delivered in 16-20 weeks (about 4-5 months), the model Y long-endurance version is also expected to be delivered in 16-20 weeks, the model Y rear-wheel drive is expected to be delivered in 10-14 weeks, and the model Y high-performance version is expected to be delivered in 12-16 weeks. According to the delivery time announced on Tesla's official website, taking Tesla Model 3 as an example, the latest time to book the car to pick up is in August. However, according to Sina Technology, Tesla China responded that "this is false news", and the relevant source "Liaoning Release" has also deleted the article, and the settlement of Tesla's second factory in China has become a mystery again, but there is no doubt that Tesla has begun to plan to build a second factory in China, as for which city, there is no accurate information.
