At present, many BYD models have updated the new generation dm-i power system, but as a flagship model, Han has not used the latest technology.
Just recently, BYD finally completed the renewal of the Han family. The models released this time are DM-i and DM-p, the former focusing on performance, the latter focusing on performance, of which DM-p pure electric endurance reached 242 kilometers. It is expected that the price of the new car will be officially announced at the Beijing Auto Show, and the pure electric version will also be released within the year.
Specifically, the changes in appearance are reflected in the details, such as the air intakes on both sides becoming the shape of a wind knife, the taillights are integrated into traditional Chinese elements, and the rest have not changed much.
This is only a small makeover model, only adding 15mm to the body length. At the same time, the new car is equipped with 19-inch wheels as standard, and the DM-p model enjoys the exclusive red brake caliper, and it is expected to choose a high-performance braking system.

The interior continues the current design, and adds the "dragon scale" element and the stepless chameleon co-pilot layout, especially the color of the night purple carbon fiber interior, which greatly enhances the sense of grade.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with DiLink 4.0 (5G) intelligent network system, DiPilot intelligent driver assistance system, W-HUD head-up display, DMS fatigue driving warning system, etc.
In the power part, the new car is equipped with a Xiaoyun-Plug Hybrid 1.5Ti turbocharged engine dedicated to the DM-i super hybrid system. Among them, the DM-i has added a front-drive model, providing two kinds of power tuning, with a maximum power of 145 kW and 160 kW, a peak torque of 316 Nm and 325 Nm, and a cruising range of 121 km and 242 km respectively under NEDC conditions.
As a high-performance version, the DM-p adds a permanent magnet synchronization to the rear axle, the motor has a maximum power of 200 kilowatts, a peak torque of 350 Nm, an acceleration of only 3.7 seconds per 100 kilometers, and an endurance of 202 kilometers under NEDC conditions.
For reference, the current Han guide price is 214,800-284,500 yuan, and the current Han DM model is sold for 222,800 yuan for all four-wheel drive models. The new Han DM-i has added a two-wheel drive version, so it seems that the cost reduction is likely to reduce the price of the entry-level model, and the overall competitiveness of the new Han is further improved.
In the past January and February, the Han family sales performance was 9284 vehicles and 12781 vehicles, respectively, in the stronger strength of the new Han, coupled with the green card can be exempted from purchase tax, it is believed that as long as BYD's production capacity can keep up, Han is likely to be this year's medium and large car sales champion.
