Recently, the Dali and Qujing warships of a certain frigate detachment of the Southern Theater Navy, together with ships and helicopters of friendly and neighboring forces, carried out an actual combat drill in a certain area of the South China Sea.
"Faint metal echoes found!" The sonar position of the Dali ship was the first to discover the "enemy situation". The battle alarm sounded, and a "shark hunting" operation began. The carrier-based helicopter then lifted off and released the sonar buoy when it reached the target sea area.
Sonar position report, unstable target tracking. Immediately, the signal disappeared, and the "enemy" submarine broke free from the tracking of surface ships and disappeared into the vast sea. In order to remove the submarine "threat" as soon as possible, all ships in the formation have strengthened coordination, adopted a variety of submarine search methods, and at the same time formed a network with helicopters to carry out three-dimensional reconnaissance of the "enemy" submarines.
In the war room, all combat positions cooperate closely, and the sound of passwords, keyboards, and sonars comes and goes. Soon after, the sonar battle position once again captured the signal of the suspected underwater submarine, and after cross-positioning and data comparison, the "enemy" submarine was firmly locked on, and the "shark hunt" was successful.
The underwater threat had just been lifted, and the air was suddenly in the air. The officers and men of the radar position of the Dali warship keenly discovered that many batches of unknown targets appeared in the air. The hurried alarm bell sounded again, and the ships of the formation quickly adjusted their positions and closely cooperated. The air target was getting closer and closer, the main and auxiliary artillery positions were steadily tracking, and as soon as the target reached the firing range, the officers and men reacted quickly and continued to shoot. The shells came out of their disembowels, the sea was full of flames and smoke, and the target was successfully destroyed.
In this exercise, the detachment randomly set up special and dangerous situations around the formation coordination of air defense and submarine operations, and tempered the commander's combat command ability in a complex battlefield environment.
