According to the data, in March, Foton Motor sold 60,505 commercial vehicles of various types, down 39.7% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold 138888 commercial vehicles of various types, down 30.8% year-on-year.

Light trucks exceeded 95,000 units in the first quarter
Medium and heavy-duty trucks sold 13,000 units a month
In March, Foton Motor sold 13,404 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including non-complete vehicles), down 60.3% year-on-year. Among them, Auman products sold 6816 units, down 66.9% year-on-year. In the first quarter, Foton Motor sold 32,576 medium- and heavy-duty trucks (including non-complete vehicles), a cumulative decrease of 54% year-on-year; of which Auman products sold 16,599 vehicles, down 61.5% year-on-year. It is worth mentioning that Foton Daimler Auman's business achieved a strong start in 2022, and its Galaxy products exceeded 1,000 cumulative intentional orders in key areas across the country.
In the light truck market, Foton Motor sold more than 42,000 units in March, and sales have always been far ahead. According to the data, in March, Foton Automobile light truck sales of 42,146 units, down 31.2% year-on-year; in the first quarter of this year, Foton Automobile light trucks sold a total of 95,688 units, down 19.7% year-on-year.

In March, Foton Motor sold 416 large buses (including non-complete vehicles), up 383.7% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold a total of 1,081 large buses, up 865.2% year-on-year.
In terms of medium-sized buses, Foton Motor sold 112 medium-sized buses in March, an increase of 75% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold 366 medium-sized buses, an increase of 53.1% year-on-year.
In terms of light buses, Foton Motor sold 4,427 units in March, down 15.3% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold a total of 9,177 light buses, down 11.8% year-on-year.
In addition, in terms of new energy vehicles, Foton Motor sold 1555 new energy vehicles in March, up 265% year-on-year; in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold 3199 new energy vehicles, up 267.3% year-on-year.
Engines sold 69,000 units in the first quarter

Engines are also one of Foton's main businesses. In March, Foton Motor sold 23,118 engines, down 37.5% year-on-year; among them, Foton Cummins engines sold 16,306 units, down 47.3% year-on-year; Foton Aucom engines sold 6,812 units, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year.
Cumulatively, in the first quarter, Foton Motor sold 69,406 engines, down 32.4% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative sales of Foton Cummins engines were 52,526 units, down 40.6% year-on-year; the cumulative sales of Foton Aucom engines were 16,880 units, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year.
