The wind is moving, the turtle and snake are quiet, and the grand plan is up; a bridge flying frame is north and south, and the heavenly graben is changing the way! Among them, this sentence of the deceased is like Sifu, which is a quote from Confucius: The son is in Kawakami: The deceased is like Sifu! Day and night.
Confucius watched the flowing water in the river on the shore, so he sighed, time kept flowing like flowing water, day and night, lamenting the rapid change of life and events, but also exhorting people to cherish time, struggle unceasingly, and adhere to the "way of being a man" at every moment!
Confucius's two sentences, "The deceased is like a sif, not giving up day and night", including many meanings in all aspects, and it can even be said that Confucius's philosophy, especially the essence of the philosophy of life, is concentrated in these two sentences. It can look at both negative and positive aspects, and even look at the universe, look at life, and look at everything. History cannot stay, the times are moving forward, the universe is like this, and so is life.
First, in terms of Taoist thought, Lao Tzu, like Confucius, often used water to represent the philosophy of life. There is an old Chinese saying: "People climb high, and water flows low." "Lao Tzu taught us to learn how to flow underwater, and the water under the heavens flows downwards, and eventually gathers the sea. The so-called vulgar is to be humble and stand at the bottom, "what people abandon, I take." Man must have capacity, and he must be as all-encompassing as the sea.
Lao Tzu also taught us that "the good is like water", and the highest virtue is like water. Taoists describe water as wonderful, the water is absolutely clean, dirty things into the water, are washed clean by the water. Let our state of mind, as well as the cultivation of our character, be like water, ice pure and jade, free from a little dust. Although it contains a lot of waste and dirt, it is still water, and the nature of water has not changed, and it will never cease to improve itself.
Second, buddhism also speaks of water, and Buddhism says that people's thoughts are the same as the waves, one wave passes, and the other is immediately connected; our thoughts, feelings, ages, and bodies are the same. Now I am not the person I was a minute ago, today's me and yesterday's careful comparison, almost completely different, nail length has changed, the number of hair is not the same. The red blood cells and skin of the body are also constantly changing like running water.
Therefore, on the one hand, time is like an arrow, and the appearance of aging is negative; but Confucius is more from the other side, using a positive point of view to see life. Life is like flowing water, constantly gushing forward. It is also like knowing a sentence in the I Ching: "Tianxingjian, a gentleman keeps improving himself." This is the dry words of the I Ching. Dry represents the heavens, that is, the movement of the universe. The universe is always spinning, always moving, not stopping for a minute, so the universe is dynamic.
Life is the same, to continue to pursue progress. The same is true of the phrase "new day by day, new day by day, and new day by day" quoted in "University". Therefore, even if the deceased is like a sif, we must not give up day and night!
