1. Chandigarh Rock Garden

It is a sculpture garden in the Indian city of Chandigarh, which was built in 1957 by a local government, Nek Chand, and the current garden covers an area of up to 160,000 square meters, and the sculptures in the garden are mainly built from industrial and household waste.

In his free time, K. Chand would go to the demolition sites of the city to collect raw materials and then make creative sculptures. In 1976, the Rock Garden was officially opened to the public, and this garden made of rocks, cinders, and scraps made this young city with a short history and no castles and temples have their own pride. Also known as the "Garbage Park", the Chandigarh Rock Garden features the transformation of waste into treasure, which turns all kinds of waste generated by daily life and industrial production into exquisite sculptures.

The park has artificial rockeries and various sculptures made of bottles, glass, tiles, ceramic pots, etc. The park has both large walls and arches made of electrical plugs and rockeries piled up with cinder. Amazingly, there are more than 5,000 small statues made of tiles and bottle caps in the park, and this phalanx of samurai, dancers and animals is like the "Indian Terracotta Warriors", which is spectacular.
