Sam Jones: Selected by the Boston Celtics with the 8th pick in the first round of the 1957 NBA Draft, he played as a shooting guard and played for the Boston Celtics all his career, helping the team win championships ten times. On May 5, 1969, the 35-year-old Sam Jones announced his retirement, and in 1984 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, Sam Jones's No. 24 jersey was retired by the Celtics, and on December 30, 2021, Sam Jones died at the age of 88.
