According to reports, Pudatso National Park is located in the "Three Rivers Flowing Together" World Natural Heritage Center, which is composed of two parts: the Internationally Important Wetland Bita Hai Nature Reserve and the "Three Rivers Flowing Together" World Natural Heritage Haba Area, with an altitude of between 2347 meters and 4670 meters, and the original ecological environment is well preserved.
There are 76 species of mammals, 297 species of birds, 13 species of amphibians, 6 species of fish, and 2,275 species of plants in the park, with a plant richness of up to 160.97 species per square kilometer. Of particular note, this is one of the only remaining habitats of the endangered endemic species of Diqing Prefecture.

According to the staff, due to the effective protection and ecological improvement, the number of wild animals in Pudatso National Park has grown rapidly. "Wolves and bears, in particular, are much more numerous than before. Clouded leopards, which were rare before, can also be seen regularly. This will undoubtedly have a great impact on the personal safety of "donkey friends" who break into the closed area without authorization. Moreover, the wetlands in Pudatso National Park are vast and the geological landscape is complex, and there is a great risk of falling without permission. There were "donkey friends" who crossed without authorization and got lost in the closed area, and the staff searched until 1 a.m. to rescue the lost people.
