In 1935, Xue Ming, who was studying at Tianjin 38 Women's High School, participated in the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement!
In 1936, Xue Ming joined the Communist Party and embarked on the road of revolution.
In 1942, on August 1, Xue Ming and He Long got married in Yan'an and gave birth to 3 children one after another: He Pengfei, He Xiaoming, and He Liming!
After the founding of New China, Xue Ming successively served as director of the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, member of the Party Committee of the General Office of the Central Military Commission, and adviser to the Political Department of the General Staff Department.
After graduating from Tsinghua University, He Pengfei was assigned to work as a worker in an automobile factory in Gansu Province.
Until 1974, under the arrangement of Premier Zhou, He Pengfei came to work in China National Machinery Import and Export Corporation.
In 1977, He Pengfei joined the army.
In 1984, after He Pengfei became the deputy director of the Equipment Department of the General Staff, he worked hard for the level of military equipment construction!
In 1992, He Pengfei became deputy commander of the Navy.
In 2001, 55-year-old He Pengfei died of a heart attack!
At that time, Xue Ming was 85 years old, and the He Xiaoming sisters discussed that because their mother was old, they were worried that when she participated in He Pengfei's body farewell ceremony, she was afraid that she would be stimulated, so they had no plans for Xue Ming to participate.

At the farewell ceremony of He Pengfei's body, 85-year-old Xue Ming was pushed by his daughter in a wheelchair to say goodbye to He Pengfei's body!
