He joined the Communist Party of China in 1921 and was a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, statesman, military strategist, diplomat, one of the main leaders of the Party and the state, one of the main founders of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the founding father of the People's Republic of China, and an important member of the first generation of the Party's central leadership collective with Comrade Mao Zedong as the core.

(March 1897 – October 24, 2003), female, from Wenchang, Hainan, born in Shanghai, was an influential figure in modern and contemporary Chinese history. He devoted himself to Chinese the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, opposed national separatism, and hoped for the peaceful reunification of the two sides of the taiwan strait and the prosperity of the Chinese nation.

On October 24, 2003, Song Meiling died at the age of 106 at her home in Manhattan, New York, USA. After Song Meiling's death, Jia Qinglin, then chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, sent a telegram of condolences to Song Meiling's relatives, expressing deep condolences for the death of Ms. Song Meiling.
