Wu Yuanlong Introduction

Wu Yuanlong (Wu Hao) is a global ambassador for the promotion of Chinese culture. He worked in fine arts work and art creation in the army for eight years (division, military art creation group, January 1968 to April 1976), and then served as the director of the Dujiangyan Mass Art Museum, the president of the Dujiang Painting Institute (from October 1976 to October 1985, graduated from the Central Electric Han Language and Literature from October 1984 to 1984), the secretary of the Chengdu Acrobatic Troupe (October 1985 to October 1993), and the executive vice chairman of the Propaganda Department of the Dujiangyan Municipal Party Committee (from October 1993 to retirement). From July 1991 to July 1993, he studied in the Chinese Painting Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2000, he completed the first advanced study class of figure painting at the Training Center of the China Artists Association. He was a professor at Geely University in Beijing.

Wu Hao has been engaged in art creation for more than 50 years, is good at character landscapes and animals, and has participated in many exhibitions of the China Artists Association, domestic and foreign, provinces and cities. He has successfully held more than 10 solo exhibitions in Guangzhou (July 1993), Beijing (October 1994), Japan (1990), Australia, Malaysia (October 1996), Qingdao (October 1997), Lhasa (May 1998), South Korea (August 1990), etc., and was invited to make huge paintings for Tiananmen Tower (October 1994), Nanyuan Airport in Beijing, Sichuan Provincial Government Office in Beijing, chairman Mao Memorial Hall (October 1994), Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall (November 1994), The General Office of the Central Military Commission (June 1998, the Great Wall Museum (October 1994), the Tibet Museum (May 1998) and other units collected and exhibited. Invited to paint two huge murals (5000x6000cm) for the VIP room of Dujiangyan Station of China High Speed Rail (August 2019). His works are collected by national leaders, military and political leaders, and well-known people at home and abroad.

His works and biographies have been included in more than ten classics, including Contemporary Fine Arts (China Publishing House, April 2005, 1st Edition), World Famous Calligraphy and Painting (1st Edition, 1997), Collection of Nomination Exhibitions of Chinese Paintings in Western Splendor (Minzu Publishing House, 2008), and Collection of Works of the National Exhibition of Chinese Paintings in The Olympic Games (Minzu Publishing House, 2008). From 1993 to 2001, he published more than 100 works in newspapers and magazines at home and abroad.

Edited the Beijing Jida textbook "Appreciation of Chinese Painting" (January 2018), which teaches two classes in one session.

Edited the Jida textbook "Chinese Painting. Basic Course of Calligraphy (Hefei Fine Arts Publishing House, August 2019, 2000) and has taught four classes.

His work was printed by the postal department on postage postcards: "Earthquake Relief in the Painter's Pen" (Chengdu Post Office, May 2009). Anecdotes of Dujiangyan. Yan Gong Characters (Chengdu Post Office, October 2009). "The Land of Pandas in Dujiangyan" (Chengdu Post Office, October 2009).

In May 2019, he was invited by the Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Collection Appraisers Association to hold a lecture and was hired as a calligraphy and painting appraiser.
