How it works

The vibrating wire data acquisition module adopts 9-24V voltage pulse excitation, and the following two methods are used.

1. Progressive scanning frequency excitation

A series of frequency gradient excitation signals are emitted, and if the frequency to be measured is in or near it, it can be successfully excited relatively quickly.

2. Excite at a known frequency

The approximate frequency of the vibrating wire device at the moment has been measured or known, and the known frequency can be used for excitation, and the signal quality is better.

When the excitation signal is sent, if the excitation has been successfully excited, the vibrating wire signal is amplified and filtered to effectively feedback the interval between the two adjacent rising edges of the signal, that is, the period of the frequency signal to be measured, in order to improve the accuracy of frequency measurement, a plurality of rising edges can be measured and stored at the same time, and the average value of a plurality of consecutive trusted rising edges can be taken to effectively provide accuracy.
