Nubu Subdistrict Dudu Village
The street of Nübu, where Dudu Village is located, is located at the confluence of the three rivers, and the scenery in the territory is beautiful. In the past, the waterways here were very convenient, and the Nübu Wharf provided convenience for merchant ships. As one of the many villages, Dudu has retained its former style and has its own unique style.
Dudu Village
Dudu Village is located in Jinhua Lanxi City, Nubu Street, since the northern Song Dynasty Xuanhe ii (1120), in order to escape the Fangla rebellion, many people from Chun'an Dudu migrated here. In order to commemorate the ancestral land, the name of the village of Dudu has also been used. Up to now, Dudu Village has been established for 900 years, leaving people with a full of ancient rhyme and cultural wealth.
Zhang's Family Temple
If you want to understand the origin and story of Dudu Village, the first stop is to come to the Zhang's Family Temple, the side of the Gate of the Zhang's Family Temple is decorated with large bluestone, although it is a stone, but the carving is very exquisite, after the precipitation of time, it shows his majesty, and the corner of the eaves here is learned: the ridge of the bird is upturned, the eaves are arched out of the jump, and there are reliefs such as double lion play balls, carp jumping dragon gates and so on.
The Zhangjia Temple was built during the Ming Jiajing (1522-1566) period and rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874) as a courtyard-style building. On the central axis, there are gatehouses, front halls, main halls, and rear halls, and there are box rooms on both sides. The main hall has three rooms, with a width of 10.4 meters, a depth of 8 meters, and a corridor around it. The nine front and rear double-step corridors in the Ming Dynasty, resting on the top of the mountain, are made of huge materials, majestic and exquisitely carved. The gatehouse is Ming Jiajing Stone Fang. Rest on the top of the hill, two pillars on the third floor.
The vivid wood carvings of ox legs and finches under the front and back eaves, lions, sika deer, birthday star children and other shapes have made many tourists shout vividly. Between pitches, you feel the atmosphere of the famous and prestigious people of the past.

Dudu Village is known as "Two Shangshu of Uncles and Nephews, One Door and Four Scholars", and is the hometown of Zhang Mao, a famous scholar, educator and writer of the Nanjing Libu Shangshu of the Ming Dynasty. Zhang Mao has been gifted since childhood, reading is stronger than memory, 9 years old chu tong four books of righteousness, 10 years old Noh Wen, 14 years old general history, 15 years old Zhongxiu cai, 26 years old Zhejiang township test Zhongju, 30 years old won the Huiyuan, was praised by posterity as "Examination God"

Zhang Mao, who was not confused at an early age, retired bravely, returned to his hometown to cross the dudu, and founded the Fengshan Academy in the village in 1483, dedicating the second half of his life to the cause of education and also allowing the village to produce talents.
Zhang Mao's nephew Zhang Zheng (章拯), an official to the Ministry of Works Shangshu. Therefore, until now, there is still a beautiful talk in the village about "one door and four scholars, two uncles and nephews and two Shangshu". The "three spirits of bearing the burden" that have been passed down from ancient times to the present have condensed and influenced generations of Dudu people. Taoism, Gongye, and Articles were the three major responsibilities proposed by Zhang Mao at that time, and encouraged his students, including Zhang's descendants, to take the six words of Daoist gongye articles as their responsibility.
On the Garden
After the Zhang family hall came out, from the "Taoist School" all the way forward, we can see the Zhang family training, the first shizheng, through the bluestone steps we arrived at the "On the Dao Garden". The two stone statues here are Zhang Mao and Wang Yangming. They can be called a generation of famous courtiers in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, a great scholar, and a model of atmosphere.
According to historical records, in the second year of Zhengde (1507), Wang Yangming, a famous thinker of the Ming Dynasty who was at a low point in his life, specially came to Lanxi to visit Zhang Mao, and Wang Yangming honored Zhang Mao as "Fengshan Master". The two felt sorry for each other and exchanged pleasantly for half a month, lighting up the heart lamp for the future Dragon Field Enlightenment. Wang Yangming also wrote the poem "Title Lanxi Shengshou Sect Temple Wall", which achieved a thousand-year-old good story in the literary world. And Wang Yangming and Zhang Mao's proud protégés Tang Long and Fang Taigu were very close friends. In the summer of the sixteenth year of Zhengde (1521), Wang Yangming came to Lanxi for the second time to visit Zhang Mao and exchange ideas again.

In Dudu, there are many intangible cultural heritage items, whether it is straw weaving skills or Yantai production crafts, which have attracted the attention of many tourists, and the craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation, so that the tradition will always be alive.

Dudu Village is an ancient historical and cultural village, with exquisite ancient architectural craftsmanship, scientific planning and layout, strong traditional cultural atmosphere, rich intangible cultural heritage, including dragon lanterns, xiangding, wooden movable type bureau and so on. Among them, the "three carvings" in ancient buildings, namely stone carving, wood carving and brick carving, are the accumulation of Jiangnan's unique art categories and traditional culture, and are the treasure house of historical materials.
