Hailuogou Scenic Area, located in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, was closed due to the "9.5" Luding earthquake in 2022, and after more than a year of reconstruction, the scenic spot will resume partial opening on December 12, 2023.

After the earthquake, the road leading from Moxi Town to Hailuogou Scenic Area was severely damaged. Today, the scenic highway has been fully completed, with a total length of 29.13 kilometers, and 4 new tunnels and 2 bridges have been built, and the disaster resistance capacity and service standards have exceeded the pre-earthquake level. Scenic trails, tourism service facilities and tour systems have been fully upgraded to provide tourists with a better tour experience. According to reports, the scenic spot will receive more than 6,000 tourists during the New Year's Day holiday in 2024, and the number of tourists will gradually rebound.
