Hello everyone, I'm Ergou.
The global computer science ranking CSRankings 2024 has been released in the past two days!
Let's take a look at the latest rankings.
Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Shanghai Jiaotong University dominate the top three in the AI field
In the AI sector, there are five main subdivisions: artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, and network & information retrieval.
When only the AI field is checked, the top 20 universities in the world in the AI field will come out.
It can be seen that Tsinghua, Peking University, and Shanghai Jiaotong University directly dominate the top three, and the AI strong school CMU only ranks fourth, while Zhejiang University ranks fifth, and among the top 20, there are Chinese National People's Congress, Nanjing University and Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Zhejiang University is the first in CV and Harbin Institute of Technology is the first in NLP
When only the computer vision field is checked (only the three top meetings of CVPR, ECCV, and ICCV are counted):
Zhejiang University is ranked first in the world, Peking University is in second place, and Tsinghua University is only 18th.
When only natural language processing is selected (only ACL, EMNLP, and NAACL are counted):
Harbin Institute of Technology ranked first in the world, Fudan University and CMU tied for second, and Tsinghua ranked sixth.
Tsinghua ranked second in the overall ranking of global computers
CSRankings actually counts four major sections: artificial intelligence, computer systems, computer theory, and interdisciplinary fields:
When all of these sections are checked, you get the overall global computer ranking.
The top 10 are: CMU, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Peking University tied with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Zhejiang University, ETH, ETH Zurich Federal Institute of Technology tied with Georgia Institute of Technology, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and Stanford University
Note: The above ranking information is publicly counted by CSRankings and is for your reference only~
Developed by Professor Emery Berger in the School of Information and Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, CSRankings is based entirely on publication metrics and is scored by measuring the number of papers presented by members of academic institutions at top academic conferences in computer science.
