On January 31, the release ceremony of the "China Good People List" in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the on-site exchange activities between national moral models and good people around them were held in Dazu District, Chongqing. After recommendations from all over the country, praise and evaluation by netizens and expert review, a total of 152 people (groups) were honored on the list of good people who are happy to help others, brave in the face of righteousness, honest and trustworthy, dedicated and dedicated, filial piety and love for their relatives.

Good people come from the ordinary but extraordinary, they strengthen cultural self-confidence, practice the excellent traditional Chinese virtues, and are the inheritors of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

At the live broadcast of the event, the representative of "Good Chinese People" shared his journey with simple language and sincere emotions. Peng Liusheng, a veteran, shared his experience of studying hard to become an "expert" in the restoration of national treasures and cultural relics, and said that he would insist on reproducing 10 classic statues of Dazu stone carvings every year; Wang Meiling, a "sunshine girl" who took her mother to college, said that she would continue to contribute to the society with the medical knowledge she had learned; Wu Jiancheng, a retired soldier who led the team to run on the front line of volunteer service, hoped that his life could shine in serving the people.
