In the morning, my brother asked me, "Do you want to go to Mount Rock?"
I said, "I won't go to climb the mountain, I heard that Mount Huashan is very steep, these days, my toes hurt, you can go!"
After they left, I took bus No. 327 to transfer to Metro Line 3 to Xi'an Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
After leaving the subway station, I saw the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the distance.
Go ahead, pass through the underpass, and then come up to the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
The North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is spacious. In the middle is the musical fountain, because I came in the morning and didn't see the fountain. According to the data, the fountain water area of 20,000 square meters, its eight-level stacked pool in the eight-level frequency conversion square is the world's largest square. This set of fountains is designed with a total of 22 kinds of independent water types, including its frequency conversion phalanx, lotus flowers, 100-meter frequency conversion spring, vast sea of clouds, butterfly love flowers, water, fire and fog and 60-meter-high water jet column, etc., are the latest new water types with high scientific and technological content in China. I heard that there are quite a lot of people who come to see the fountain every night. The combination of lanterns, fountains and music creates a feast for the senses and eyes!
Walk forward under the tall city wall, turn left when you reach the head, come to the main entrance of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, I bought a ticket with my mobile phone, and came to the gate, on the gate is written "Great Ci'en Temple" four big characters. Arrived where I was longing. After the staff checked the tickets, I entered the courtyard. The courtyard is very spacious, the left and right are the wing rooms, there is a large hall in front of it, the steps are very high, the railing made of white marble, surrounded by the cypress, go up the steps, walk into the hall to see the hall, there is a golden statue standing in the hall, this is the statue of the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang, see his statue, I unconsciously put my hands together, bow continuously, express my admiration. The first thing that influenced me was the TV series "Journey to the West", especially the "Three Dozen White Bone Spirits" that had been implanted in my bone marrow. Some tourists are very pious, buy incense and kneel in front of them to pray.
I turned around the main hall and came to the bottom of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. At this time, the weather was not very hot, there were not many tourists, and I had to buy another ticket to climb the tower, so I went to the ticket office and bought another ticket to climb the tower. Suddenly, I saw a guide sign that said, "go around the tower for a week, be happy for a lifetime", so, I walked around the tower for a week, look up at the top of the tower from time to time, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is so majestic and magnificent against the background of the clear blue sky! The tower body is a square cone, a total of seven layers, by the tower base, the tower body, the tower stop three parts are composed, the height is 64.7 meters.
It is said that after Master Xuanzang retrieved the scriptures from India, in order to hide the scriptures, he asked the imperial court in the third year of Yonghui (652 AD) to build this Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the masterpieces in the history of ancient Chinese architecture.
After a week around the tower, enter from an arched door, the corridor is not very spacious, there are inscriptions on both sides of the corridor, there are Tang Taizong Li Shimin wrote the "Tang Dynasty Sanzang Holy Order" and Tang Gaozong Li Zhi wrote the "Three Tibetan Holy Religion Order", I stopped to admire, because there are tourists in and out, can not read the inscription carefully, so, continue to go inside, come to the first floor, in the center is a circular display case, showing the Xuanzang statue tablet, as well as the common sense about the ancient tower.
Walk up the narrow wooden staircase to the second floor, where a bronze gilt statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is enshrined in the central window, known as the "Treasure of the Pagoda". The third layer enshrines two pieces of the Bayeux Sutra, which Xuanzang took back from India and engraved on the treated Bedolo leaves. In the fourth-floor display case, there is an exquisite stupa with two Buddha relics in the tower, which are still shining under the light. The fifth floor displays the Tang bricks used in the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Fengduo (bells at the corners of the eaves), the sixth floor hangs the banners of poems by Tang Dynasty poets, and to the top, there is nothing left, and from here you can overlook the surrounding scenery.
Standing by the window, the breeze is gentle, looking at Xi'an from the four windows, there are high-rise buildings everywhere, the south is hazy and can see Zhongnan Mountain, the east and west are not able to see the edge of the city, and the north can see the rolling mountains.
Finally, we visited the exhibition of scriptures. After Venerable Xuanzang returned to China, he translated and sorted out the Buddhist scriptures he brought back from India. I was struck by the fact that he translated 75 scriptures in 1,335 volumes. A person's energy is limited, and he can translate so many works in a limited life, Master Xuanzang is really amazing! He is well-deserved to be known as the "backbone of the nation"!
