China's suspension of aquatic imports from Japan is related to Japan's disregard for China's advice and the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water into the sea without permission.

Since the launch of the plan in August last year, the Japanese government has so far carried out six rounds of discharge, discharging about 46,000 tons of nuclear-contaminated water into the sea. Obviously, the Japanese had violated Chinese law first, and the arrest carried out by the relevant departments in accordance with the law. The Japanese government's demand for the release of the individual is a challenge to China's judicial authority.

It should be pointed out that before the Chinese and Japanese officials held consultations at the level of foreign affairs director-generals, Fumio Kishida finalized the list of Chinese companies to be sanctioned. It is understood that this sanctions list will include companies from third countries, including China, that supply dual-use materials and parts to Russia. This is the first time that Japan has imposed sanctions on Chinese companies due to the situation in Ukraine.
