On June 19, according to media reports, in the second half of this year, GAC Aion and Haobo Automobile will launch four new models to further enrich its product line.
Among them, GAC Aion's second-generation AION V is expected to be launched in July, as the brand's first global model.
The new model continues the style shown at the Beijing Auto Show, with silver and orange paint options and LiDAR. The body size is reduced from the current model, but it is available in a variety of tire sizes and rim designs.
In terms of power, the second-generation AION V will be offered with two pure electric powertrains, high and low power, with a single-motor layout, and two battery packs with two capacities, 62.268 kWh and 75.26 kWh, and the CLTC pure electric range is expected to be 520 km to 750 km.
In terms of the Haobo brand, the global model of the Haobo GT was launched in early June, with a price range of 203,900 to 259,900 yuan.
The all-new six-seater SUV Haobo AH8, which is scheduled to be launched in September, is currently in the testing phase and is expected to feature a split headlight design, concealed door handles, and irregularly shaped rear taillight clusters.
The Haobo AH8 is expected to be equipped with high-level driver assistance functions and LiDAR, and the interior design is expected to be similar to that of the Haobo HT, but there will be upgrades in equipment and materials.
In addition, Haobo AH8 is expected to be produced based on GAC's self-developed AEP3.0 pure electric platform, and some spare parts will be provided by Huawei.
