At the 2024 Eurobike exhibition, American electric bike brand Benno Bikes brought a new flagship model - Remi Demi XL. With its excellent cargo capacity, strong power, and comfortable ride, this electric cargo bike is ideal for city commuting and family travel.
The biggest highlight of the Remi Demi XL is its variable cargo space. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with enlarged shelves, which can not only easily fit two child seats, but also can be combined with the original front shelves to further expand the cargo capacity. Whether you're carrying kids, pets, shopping loot or moving items, the Remi Demi XL is designed to meet the needs of multiple scenarios.
The Remi Demi XL is equipped with a Bosch Performance 250W mid-mounted motor with a torque of up to 75Nm, providing powerful acceleration performance. In regions such as the United States and New Zealand, the e-cargo bike can reach a maximum assist speed of 45km/h, while in the European version, the maximum assist speed is 25km/h, which complies with local regulations.
In terms of range, the Remi Demi XL offers two battery options, 400Wh and 545Wh. With the original Bosch charger, it can be fully charged in 4.5 hours. Depending on the riding mode, the maximum range can reach 140km, which meets the needs of daily commuting and long-distance riding.
To cope with stability when fully loaded, the Remi Demi XL features a low center of gravity design and a sturdy 6061 alloy frame. Even when fully loaded, it can also provide a stable riding experience. There's also Magura MT Thirty front and rear disc brakes and a Shimano 9-speed shifting system to keep track of your ride.
In terms of comfort, the Remi Demi XL features wide handlebars and ergonomic grips, paired with 20-inch puncture-resistant tires for a comfortable ride. Hermans front and rear lights are standard to ensure safe night riding.
Remi Demi XL is available in three color options: Chai Latte Gray, Turmeric Yellow, and Anthracite Gray to meet the individual needs of different consumers. The official pricing and launch date have not yet been announced, but it is expected to be revealed at the Eurobike exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, from July 3 to 7.
