The detachment took the favorable opportunity of the "Safety Production Month" publicity to distribute fire protection publicity materials to the masses, demonstrated the correct use of various fire protection products on the spot, explained the knowledge of fire prevention and evacuation in easy-to-understand language, taught the basic skills of fire escape, and told the masses to pay attention to the safety of fire, electricity and gas in daily life.

The detachment mobilized more than 100 fire volunteers from the "Blue Pigeon" volunteer service team in Bincheng, 6 (cities, districts) and 3 economic development zones in the city, and formed 10 volunteer service teams to carry out "face-to-face" fire safety publicity and education in towns, rural areas, communities, shops along the street and crowded places, warning the masses to fully recognize the hazards of fire, implement various fire safety measures, and keep evacuation channels and safety exits unblocked.

The detachment went deep into the residential community to carry out the "three clearances and three passes" household fire safety publicity work, reminded residents to clean up the combustible sundries and flammable and explosive materials in the corridors, home interiors, kitchens, and balconies in a timely manner, and assisted the property and residents to clean up the old furniture stored in the corridor, cardboard boxes and other potential safety hazards that encroached on the fire channel, and at the same time told the community property staff to strictly implement the main responsibility of fire safety, and carry out daily hidden danger self-inspection and self-improvement actions in a timely manner.

The detachment gives full play to the role of various media positions, guides the masses to improve their awareness of fire safety, coordinates the outdoor display screens, building TVs, and LED displays in key units, shopping malls, supermarkets, hotels, guesthouses, communities and other densely populated places to continuously broadcast fire public service advertisements and fire reminder subtitles, and plays fire warning films and fire public service advertisements to create a strong fire safety publicity atmosphere.
