The new Look Keo Blade Ceramic Ti is indeed very lightweight and rotates smoothly, but it is also very expensive. However, for professional riders, it is certainly acceptable to trade cost for high performance.

Instead of using the spring and clip structure that some brands are used to, the Keo lock pedal uses a carbon leaf spring structure. Through the elastic bending of the carbon fiber sheet at the bottom, the locking of the lock pedal and the lock plate is realized.
Look offers consumers a choice of four tensile carbon fiber sheets, namely 8Nm, 12Nm, 16Nm, and 20Nm, so there's something for everyone. For some pro riders, if you don't want to get out of lock during a hard sprint or climb, then opting for a 16Nm carbon fiber sheet is suitable.
For the daily use of Keo locks, you need to pay attention to the need to spend some effort to unlock it in advance before reaching the intersection or waiting for the red light, otherwise you will find that the problem is a little tricky when you stop to solve it.
But from a performance standpoint, this isn't a flaw in Keo locks. It's ideal for professional riders and athletic-minded riders, as they don't need to unlock as often.
In addition, the carbon fibre sheet of the Keo lock pedal can also be replaced with a lower or higher tension version, but it needs to be purchased extra, and the modification price on Look's UK website is 41 pounds (about 378 yuan).
The original cleat of the Keo lock pedal supports 4.5 degrees of floating, which is more knee-friendly, and the entry and exit action of the cleat is also very stable and reliable. In addition, a 9-degree cleat is also available.
The cleats and pedals provide ample contact area to help the rider distribute weight and pressure well, and it is also great for power training without any pressure on the soles of Western journalists' feet after long rides. The STACK height of the cleat and pedal is 14.8 mm.
As the name suggests, this lock pedal uses ceramic bearings and titanium shafts, and the ceramic bearings really make the lock pedal run very smoothly. And ceramic bearings last four to six times longer and are more durable than cheaper steel bearings.

Of course, Keo locks are not "a family alone", and there are more expensive than it. For example, Wahoo's Speedplay Nano is made of a blend of titanium alloy and carbon fiber, and the price is 379.99 pounds (about 3,506 yuan).
The Nano has been talked about in the industry for its locking method, with all of its locking mechanisms integrated into the sole, allowing for a lower STACK height of 11.5mm for the cleat and pedals, as well as more room for floating on the foot.
