Jianmen Pass is located in Jiange County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, the cliffs on both sides, straight into the sky, the peaks and peaks lean against the sky like a sword, the cliff is broken, the two walls are opposite, its shape is like a door, so it is called "Sword Gate", there is the name of "the first male pass in the world". Jianmen Pass, as the core scenic spot of Jianmen Shu Road, here is a collection of Shu Road culture, Three Kingdoms culture, pass culture, war culture, red culture in one, with "majestic, dangerous, strange, beautiful, secluded" famous all over the world.
So how to get by car from Chengdu?
First of all, Chengdu to Jianmen Pass can take the high-speed rail, there are currently 7 trains a day, the ticket price is 96 yuan, and it takes 1.5 hours.
Then, after arriving at Jianmen Pass, about 20 kilometers away from the scenic spot, you can transfer to the tourist special bus to the Jianmen Pass Scenic Area at the high-speed rail station (when we go, it was still free to take the bus, I don't know if it is now).

Jianmen has the North Gate, the South Gate, and the East Gate. The east gate is the exit to the mountain, and it is generally entered from the north gate or the south gate. The bus terminal is at the south gate of Jianmen Pass, you can also get off at the north gate, you need to take the cableway to get off at the north gate, we chose to get off at the south gate, this side is more suitable for hiking.

After getting off the bus from the south gate, we ate something in the ancient town, we found that the price of this ancient town is the normal price, not at all like the price of the scenic spot, under normal circumstances, we rarely eat in the scenic spot, because the price is too expensive and not delicious. After eating, walk a few hundred meters through the ancient town and come to the Jianmen Pass Scenic Area Sales Office.

After buying tickets and entering the scenic spot, there is a gate sign on the left to take pictures, and the uphill slope on the right is the Red Army Battle Monument, and we are walking along the river walking path on the left. Passing by the statue of Jiang Wei, the sculpture of Liu Bei Zhuge Liang, there is a Jinniu Gorge plank road in front of the statue of Jiang Wei, and there are three main roads from Hanzhong to the south of Bashu: Jinniu Road, Micang Road and Lychee Road. Among the three Shu roads, the Jinniu Road is the most convenient road, which can go directly to Chengdu. The Jianmen Pass guards the throat of the Golden Bull Road, which is a well-deserved northern gateway to Shudi, and it is also a place where soldiers of all dynasties must fight. We had enough time to go for a walk, but we didn't go when we didn't have enough time.

The bird path and the ape judo are not far apart, and the first to arrive is the bird path, the bird path is free, the bird path is very narrow and steep, it can only accommodate one person, and the steps are very high. So, be sure to think through before climbing.
A little further is Ape Judo, Ape Judo needs to be charged separately, and wear a safety helmet, safety rope and other protective measures, and under 12 years old and under 60 years old, or high blood pressure can not go, before going to Ape Judo, blood pressure will be measured one by one, sign a letter of commitment, teach how to use a safety rope, etc. So before you go, you must think clearly, one is not qualified, the other is whether you can finish, because there is no turning back arrow when you open the bow, you can't turn back when you go up, the road is very narrow, narrower than the bird path, and many places are not as wide as the soles of the feet and are on the cliffs. If the conditions are right, you can still experience it, and the experience is really good. Because there are many people, it takes more than half an hour to walk the ape judo.

After going up the mountain from Sarujudo, go to the left, pass the ropeway station, and then come to Liangshan Temple, and you can go back to Liangshan Temple, there are two lines here, one continues to go to the East Gate of Jianmen Pass, but this road is basically a downhill road, there is no scenery, so we chose the second route, return to the position of Sarujudo and Bird Road up the mountain, and go all the way to Yangsan Pavilion.

What we chose was to go out of the scenic area from the north gate through the stalagmite peak through the Xianyun Inn.
Jianmen Pass Scenic Area as a whole is very large, if there is not enough time, it is recommended to take a sightseeing car or cableway, so that you can visit the essence of Jianmen Pass, it is recommended that you take a bird road or ape judo, you can indeed feel that Shu Road is difficult, it is difficult to go to the blue sky.
