The public has been informed that according to Article 16 of the "Regulations on the Registration of Motor Vehicles" (Order No. 164), "if a registered motor vehicle has any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply to the vehicle administration office at the place of registration to change the registration: (1) change the color of the vehicle body", if the color of the vehicle body changes by more than one-third of the vehicle, it is necessary to submit the motor vehicle for inspection to the vehicle management office for change of registration.
Therefore, regardless of whether the owner changes the body color of the motorcycle under his name or decorates the vehicle itself with a sticker, as long as the color of the vehicle body changes by more than one-third of the vehicle, it is necessary to submit the motor vehicle for inspection to the vehicle management office for change registration.
In addition, it is worth noting that according to Article 15 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and engineering rescue vehicles shall be sprayed with sign patterns and installed sirens and sign lamps in accordance with the regulations. Other motor vehicles shall not spray, install or use the signs and patterns, sirens or sign lamps that are special to or similar to the above-mentioned vehicles.
