Tao Te Ching, Chapter 78 [Original]

The world is weaker than water, and the strong can win, with its easy.

The weak is better than the strong, the soft is better than the strong, the world knows everything, and nothing can be done.

It is based on the sage cloud: the dirt of the country (gòu), which is the lord of the society (jì); The ominous of receiving the country is the king of the world.

Honest Youth.

Tao Te Ching, Chapter 78 and the Moon of Wu Wei ^05

Second, nature is not easy, and the right path is not lost.

Original text: "With its easy reach." ”

"Its" means water; "Yi" means to change, but also to replace.

This sentence means that water is the weakest thing in the world, and it seems that anything can affect it, but if you look closely, you find that no one can control it.

In life, if you fight hard against strong, you often lose both; However, if you use softness to control the strong, it will only be strong and soft. So, among the things that are used to overcome strength, there is no substitute for water. This is what it means to "make it easier to do it".

The reason why the power and status of water is "uneasy" is because water has no self, so it has no fixed shape.

It is in the nature of this invisible thing to be completely submissive and not to resist.

To achieve this ultimate suppleness, how can a foreign object destroy it, and why destroy it? Therefore, it is precisely because of the eternity of nature that water shows the flexibility of selflessness.

Judging from the fact that water is "incomparably easy", it can understand many of the sayings of the sages.

For example, in the forty-ninth chapter of the Tao Te Ching, it says:

"I am good for the good, I am good for the unkind, and I am good for the bad, and I am good; I believe in those who believe, and I also believe in those who don't. ”

A lot of people don't understand this. A good man and a believer, I will also be kind to him and trust him, as it should be; But why should I be kind and trust him if I am not kind and unbelieving?

In this world, "those who believe in others may not be sincere, but those who cherish are sincere; If you are suspicious, you may not be deceived, but you will be deceived first."

That is to say, a person who can trust others may not be honest with the other party, but he himself is honest; On the other hand, the one who is always suspicious of others may not be deceived by everyone, but he himself is already treacherous.

If we regard ourselves as water, and then look at virtue and goodness, it is easy to understand that how we treat people has nothing to do with how the outside world treats us. For how others treat me is my cause and effect; And how I treat others is my character.

Character is not easy, in order to be righteous; If the right path is not lost, no one in the world can replace it. Otherwise, the evil in the mind will eventually detract from one's own blessings. Herein lies the truth.

Nature is not easy, but the right path is not lost (serial 698)

Water can be "uneasy", the key is selflessness.

This "I" is like an arrow target, erected in the light, and there is a shadow in the light; Standing in the world, cause and effect have a target.

If you don't have awareness of "me", all kinds of practice are blind practice. This is because the ultimate goal of practice is not to practice meditation, to practice sensing, to practice liberation.

There is only one thing to do: to dissolve the "me" – once there is no "me" distracting, the Tao in the heart will be revealed. Then, tranquility arises, sensibility is sensitive, and liberation comes naturally.

In fact, the avenue has no desire, and the human heart has no self, this is the original state.

Returning to the original state is nature, nature is at ease, freedom is liberation, liberation is integration with heaven and earth, and integration with the avenue.

Therefore, nature is not easy, the right path is not lost, to achieve this state, what else in the world can replace him?
