The Songjiang School is one of the schools of landscape painting in the late Ming Dynasty, founded by Gu Zhengyi and represented by Dong Qichang, and has three branches: the "Susong School" headed by Zhao Zuo, the "Yunjian School" represented by Shen Shichong, and the "Huating School" represented by Gu Zhengyi, the first two schools are derived from Song Xu. Zhao Zuo and Song Maojin studied under Song Xu, and Shen Shichong studied under Mao Jin and Zhao Zuo. They were all from Songjiang Mansion (now Songjiang, Shanghai, known as Huating in ancient times) at that time, and their styles influenced each other, and their painting style was elegant and lush, and their bones were beautiful.
