As the theme design station of the four new stations, the reporter saw that the ceiling of the seaside station adopts a gradient wave shape pendulum, the enamel steel plate used on the wall specially adds the national style watercolor wave pattern, and the ground creates a "seaside" atmosphere through parquet stone, bringing passengers a strong visual experience of Shatin water town style.
Waterfront Station is an interchange station for Line 3 and Line 4, and you need to transfer from underground to aboveground. The reporter experienced on the spot that from the platform floor of Line 3, you can take the escalator to the station hall floor of Line 4 within 2 minutes. The entrance to the Line 4 concourse is temporarily closed as it has not yet been opened.
Shiqi South Station

Compared with the existing Line 3 station, Shiqi South Station has a more "sense of space".
It is understood that Shiqi South Station is the largest of the four newly built stations. In order to connect the station of the entrance line, Shiqi South Station is designed with two island platforms on the platform level, and the auxiliary line in the middle is used for vehicles to enter and exit the parking lot of Guangzhou New Town in the west, and assume the role of receiving and sending trains of Line 3. The design of the "double platform" makes the standard section of the station 33.9 meters wide and the station length 466 meters, and the middle floor is also 5.15 meters high due to the design and construction concept of the vault in the station hall, making the station more spacious and concise as a whole.
Panyu Square - 15 minutes from the seaside, Guangzhou Metro Line 3 and Line 4 can be directly transferred within the year
Up to now, the civil works of the eastern extension section of Line 3 (Panyu Square and a seafront) have been completed by 99%. The "three powers" have been transferred to the stations and rail areas of the whole line. The remaining civil works and M&E works were carried out in the parking lot of Guangzhou New Town.
