Count the preparations for the 15th National Games
The 15th National Games is divided into competitive sports competitions and mass events, of which there are 34 major sports competitions and 401 small events, and mass events are set up with 23 major events and 166 small events.
Guangdong will host most of the events of the 15th National Games:
Guangzhou: rowing, canoeing (sprint, slalom), modern pentathlon, diving, water polo, shooting (rifle pistol, skeet), football (women's under 16 years), track and field (excluding marathon, race walking), break dancing, volleyball (men's under 20 group, men's under 18 group), trampoline, rock climbing, martial arts routines;
Shenzhen: badminton, boxing, archery, basketball (five-a-side women's under-22 group), swimming (swimming, marathon swimming), football (men's under-20 group, men's under-18 group), cycling (freestyle BMX, BMX racing), rhythmic gymnastics, equestrian (dressage, show jumping, eventing), volleyball (women's under-18 group), track and field (marathon);
Zhuhai: track and field (race walking), cycling (road), tennis;
Shantou: surfing, handball (women);
Foshan: Basketball (5-a-side women's senior group), football (women's senior group);
Meizhou: Football (Men's Under 16 Group);
Huizhou: taekwondo, skateboarding;
Shanwei: sailboats;
Dongguan: Basketball (five-a-side men's senior group), weightlifting;
Zhongshan: baseball, softball, basketball (five-a-side women's under-18 group);
Jiangmen: Volleyball (men's senior group, women's under-20 group), cycling (mountain), synchronized swimming;
Zhanjiang: Wushu Sanda;
Zhaoqing: gymnastics, judo, football (women's under-18 group);
Qingyuan: wrestling (freestyle, Greco);
Yunfu: Hockey.
Hong Kong will host competitive sports such as men's basketball under 22 category, track cycling, fencing, golf, men's handball, rugby 7s, triathlon, beach volleyball, and mass events such as bowling.
The competitive sports events that Macao will host include table tennis, women's volleyball, 3x3 basketball, men's basketball under 18 years old, and karate for mass events.
✍ After the Paris Olympics, the General Administration of Sports of China will adjust the competition events of the 15th National Games according to the project settings of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, and the project layout will also be adjusted accordingly.
Many venues of the 15th National Games will carry out green and low-carbon renovation and construction, comprehensively use building and equipment efficiency and carbon reduction measures, and give priority to the use of green electricity and photovoltaic storage renewable energy.
The Guangdong Olympic Sports Center will add 2 to 5 layers of sunshade horizontal eaves for sun protection, install solar photovoltaic panels on the horizontal platforms, and implant green vines to form a green corridor;
Through a series of renovations, the stadium of Tianhe Sports Center will achieve energy saving and carbon reduction of more than 45%, becoming the first near-zero carbon large-scale stadium renovation project in China.
The renovation goal of the rock climbing arena in the Guangzhou University Town Sports Center is a "zero-carbon building", that is, the carbon emission intensity of the building reaches 0.
The preparation of the 15th National Games will give full play to the resources and advantages of the international science and technology innovation center in the Greater Bay Area, explore the application of new technologies and technologies in organizing, participating in and watching the games, and empower the smart National Games.
Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center will achieve precise seat navigation through high-precision map and high-precision positioning technology;
Guangzhou Nansha Stadium has added a number of high-tech equipment, such as intelligent ticketing system, real-time data analysis system and advanced security monitoring system;
Some venues, such as the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center Stadium, will deploy integrated demonstration application scenarios of "optical storage, supercharging, and vehicle-network interaction" to create new technologies, new processes, and new model application scenarios.
Since the release of the logo collection activity of the 15th National Games, it has immediately aroused widespread attention and strong repercussions from all walks of life, and the event has received more than 7,000 entries including theme slogans, emblems, mascots, etc., and applicants from all over the world have provided a steady stream of creative support for the 15th National Games.
"Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao", "One Heart", "National Games", "Paralympic Games", "Sharing", "Greater Bay Area", etc. are the high-frequency words of the theme slogan entries for the works;
Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have the same regional culture, similar folk customs, and complementary advantages, and the integration of local characteristics and elements of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in the design of the emblem and mascot has become the consensus of the vast majority of applicants.
