Water is the mother of all things, the foundation of survival, the source of civilization, and the life resource of human beings and all living beings.
However, the mainland has more people and less water, and the per capita water resources are less than one-third of the world average, and nearly two-thirds of the cities are short of water to varying degrees. The freshwater resources that humans can really use are part of rivers, lakes and groundwater, which account for only 0.26% of the total water on the planet.
